I don’t really need to think of a way to have them given like given Blizzard could just give them to us like they did Alliance the normal ones, it’s easy to take from the race because like so many that side are more than happy to point out it would just be a copy/paste pretty much.
My respects for the brave ones that would hypothetically do so.
Rommath is a grade A jerk -and we love him for it, but nonetheless this is a fact-, the “punishment” he would concoct would be legendary (or maybe in his J. Edgar persona, he would use them “repentant” Velves to spy on Alleria et al? I can totally see this while he makes Lor´themar negotiate some “palliatives” for the subjects with the Cult of the Forgotten shadow via “go suck up to Voss and Calia so these guys have a way to control the psycho whispers”).
Tbh, as fun as it is to speculate, at the end I rather we leave the Velves alone in their happy merry Alliance.

Why think about it, we Blood Elves could have 4 themes, the normal one, San’layn one, the Dark Ranger one and the void one for RPing it’s a total win for Blood Elves.
As I said yesterday Moon, i rather not fall into the hypocritical game.
I like to believe -and prove myself- that I´m better than that. No need to let some few trolls spoil us regarding the rest of the Helfer / Velfer community.

It’s not hypocritical to want more options for my race, actually I think the void customization options could be easy fix for them to give us while they work on actually making us San’layn and Dark Ranger customizations, it’s seriously a win in all aspects.
Pretty much all of this in my mind.
Rommath would not be kind.
I’d prefer to keep Void Elves Alliance but I might be a bit biased there. lol
I don’t actually mind sharing assets myself though. Not where I would go with it but I also wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.

Of course you would, I would rather Void Elves never have existed or been just Horde rather than given to Alliance but we don’t always get what we want do we.
Not talking about you, Moon. Talking about ME. I´ve championed the visual exclusiveness pretty much the whole time, ergo, I´m really not into sharing assets with the race that is a borderline clone of the Belves already.
You haven´t taken ever such strict stance (you for example are ok with getting some Velf haircuts, etc.), ergo is not hypocritical coming from you.
He´s -as I mentioned- a grade A jerk since pretty much forever. But at least I love him precisely for that, for being an smart sassy nerd with a huge chip in the shoulder.

In a perfect world we’d all have unique assets for our races and little copying beyond things like hairstyles and scars and such.
I tend to prefer unique things that set the races apart these days than ones that are exactly the same. (Even where they’re fairly close.)
Rommath has my respect for his determination to protect his people. Hes a jerk because he feels he has to be.

While you probably could regret it later, there are more Nightborne players than just Ellinia that probably want to support those things.
I like to work off of the idea that only so many will make a thread, and its not right to punish those who have done nothing wrong who might support the things that thread is talking about if I can manage.
That said… I’ve been burned like that before. Finally couldn’t take it in one thread and had to leave it.
Not like… meaning you have to or nothing. You do what you need to to be happy and safe. Just my two cents. I apologize if this is unwelcome.

Stuff like fixing the male facial geometry or the absurd waist to hip ratio for the guys or the “man hands” for the girls is something that NEEDS to be applied to both Nelves and Nightborne.
As long as the petitions made by the Nelf players regarding the Highborne theme aren´t a gross copy / poach from the NB, I don´t see why this should be a problem.
I just think the interaction between Halduron, Rommath and Lor´themar is both endearing and hilarious.
They used to be SO antagonistic but bonded indeed over their love for their contry so much nowadays they even play “pranks” between themselves, lul.

I was once for everything being shared from side to side like 100% but then it ended up being more and more one sided towards Alliance and Void Elves while Nightborne got more and more shafted and well you know the rest because we were friends since then.
Yup, I know how that went. Bad for almost every party concerned.

It bugs me every time that I see that and think “What nothing is wrong about-” and then someone posts some edits and adjustments and I’m like…“Yep its broken please fix.” lol

This is also where I mostly stand. I’m not personally asking for Nightborne stuff at all… I would actually kinda hate that.
It wouldn’t represent the Shen’dralar who have a very different history than the Nightborne after the Sundering.
Small things humble things that still have a bent towards the arcane are what we need for Shen’dralar, not ostentatious and high standing.
The amount of fan fiction about them…
I totally get that though. I love their interactions ever time I stumble upon one.
Your main deserves to have a more “natural” (yup, pun totally intended) silouette, he has more waist than the girls and he´s a grumply lovable old dude).
When I say fix I mean the snarls and excess of facial lines in some faces… I´m not asking for all the Nelf / NB faces to portray teenagers, but some options apart from the ONE face to look younger-ish would be welcome.
On that vein, some “old looking” faces for Belves would be appreciated too (with more visible laugh lines / lines around the eyes / eyebags / wizard beards).
Tell me about it, i think it has been our No. 1 bonding feature.
Someone has to write a fanfiction ASAP about the err “conversation” Halduron and Rommath had regarding the Lor´themar shyness issue in regards to Thalyssra´s thirstyness.

My greatest wish for him one day is a burly model like the Druids of the Claw from WCIII. I don’t think it’ll ever happen… but its the dream.
I want a toggle option for the Scowl, but I do think both Nightborne and Night Elves need more facial options over all. We’re fairly one note on both sides there.
I’d love that.
I have one elf in particular who could really use that actually.

It’s a real shame too. Nothing should be asked for with the purpose of pettiness or intent to “hurt” someone else. It should be done out of genuine love and desire. If I asked for the last bowl of rice to spite the starving stranger behind me and ensure they go hungry, I shouldn’t get the last bow of rice.
