Even if that’s not what you want, what would you think is the right call to solve the faction imbalance? Cause the alternative seems to be this.
There’s no just leaving it be, because it hurts both sides by having it lopsided.
As a Sylvanas fan who isn’t happy the Horde lost another Warchief and my favorite character at that, seeing her say good bye to her loyalists at her home in Quel’thalas and having Velonaras comments to call Sin’dorei her kin as much as forsaken, it would make me somewhat invested in the story again to have my character reflect having died in the fourth war and being raised.
That said it also satisfies the request for a second visual theme for Blood Elves but it’s not the only option they could do Fel blood elves instead (which I don’t much like but would accept and be content we got a second visual theme) or play up the light to have light tentacles etc

The game is dying. My realm, Emerald dream used to be full of players. Both horde and Alliance. The fact that you relish the unbalanced state of the game now compared to how it used to be is hilarious though. “Everything is right” sure… Keep telling yourself that, Horde fanatic.

I play on Proudmoore as a Horde main which is mostly Alliance, as if. If you don’t like your realm feel free to change to one you like better.

The point was that if “everything was right as rain” with the game, a realm like Emerald dream wouldn’t just disappear this xpac. Moving to another realm doesn’t address the fact realms are dying.
Frankly, shared gameplay ala Mercenary mode (wich means the factions and the lore don´t get modifications but people can make groups with players regardless of faction) seems to be the only available fix. That and removing / restricting racials in mythic modes so people don´t continue with the “pick only these 3 “broken” races” with each tier as they usually do.
I play Horde because that’s where a vast majority of my friends are. I have a good thing here whereas I’m homeless on the other side.
And due to my disabilities I would have to start a second disability friendly LGBT friendly raiding guild on Alliance side of I wanted to play meaningfully there. I can not play in another guild.

well thats the pro position. denial of lore. denial of the origin of farstrider tattoos which alleria has because she served in that organization as a ranger captain. they were also against blue eyes, even tho there were blood elf npcs with blue eyes and the devs themselves stated green glint was temporary. they arent an anti in any capacity, they always wanted to give ‘high elves’ to the alliance

seeing a farstrider tattoo on a blood elf(high elf) means they serve(d) in a very specific organization. they mean something to the farstriders they are service related tattoos or even marks of honor. they could mean anything from kills or achievements. their permanent reminders of good/bad times
ultimately, its culture appropriation from the blood elves. literally tattoos using symbols and elements taken from their culture by individuals who have no clue what they mean because they never served as a farstrider. and i say that last bit as a matter of fact because farstriders ARE intimately bound to the wildlands. there is no way a nature loving farstrider is going to seek out the void elves
the line is when someone copies the exact cultural and traditional symbols of tattoos. i would consider farstrider tattoos tribal like. and tribal tattoos should only be done by members of the culture and tradition of that ‘tribe’, and no one else
like i said void elves have as much right to represent this as blood elves the void aesthetic, alleria should be updated and the easter egg option is there. now we can make them distinct

Sorry I had to. The typo of Horde and Horse makes me always giggle.
With the expac, it’s not races or faction balance killing the game. People are not leaving because of a lack of blonde alliance elves, and I doubt them getting blonde will make a difference.

Lol, still makes me sad every time you say this because I can’t believe we never ran into one another like not even once given I have played on Proudmoore almost the whole time I’ve played this game and that’s a really long time.
Some realms grow and some shrink, it happens, some are more Horde based and some are more Alliance based, maybe your realm just happens to be one people don’t want to play anymore and have moved elsewhere, perhaps you should look into where the people went and why they went there rather than trying to make this into something it’s not.
So it’s all “rainbows and sunshine” huh? Why is everyone complaining then??
Anyways, so I don’t play Hearthstone but I really appreciate what the devs. and artists do for the Warcraft world and really enjoy looking at their artwork.

It´s actual lack of content and stupid hurdles to get rewards, I know. And the systems were plain awful, the covenant stuff should had been cosmetics cause a lot of people got burned and angry over having to re-enact “covenant affiliation” 3 or 4 times in a row with each “performance” adjustment.

Everyone isn’t complaining, I have only seen a few people complaining about the game and realms and it’s mainly Alliance players about how supposedly imbalanced it is and this comes after them saying they didn’t or don’t want to play Horde but somehow they want to have the faction barrier down so they can benefit from playing with Horde players while not playing Horde.
