It’s unfortunate that you went through that, but I don’t think anyone here is being attacked for being alliance in this thread. There are disagreements over things, sure, but that’s not the same as being attacked.

Also, disagreeing with things like high elves or high elf additions to void elves is not the same thing as being anti alliance either. It’s also not anti alliance to hope nightborne get the attention they need, and acting like there’s a bias against the alliance in favor of the horde is not a good look. And that’s coming from someone who thought there was a bit of bias for a time. Both sides have issues. I love most of my new nelf stuff, but feel disappointed in what belves got, and how little they got. That doesn’t mean I think alliance is favored over the horde though.

I think I - and many other people - disagree simply because you can disagree without derailing multiple threads with a group. Things quickly spiraled from “I disagree” moves on to it literally being the entire social presence of multiple people, and that’s when it trails into harassment.

Yep. It’s just weird to see folks you think are normal turn into weirdos with a massive faction bias that they feel confident to demean and antagonize individuals for their pixel choice.

The way some folks treat others here is so silly as well. It would be like me straightup saying Nightborne don’t deserve anything else because they got their hand glow. “They should be grateful they even got it.” Like no, folks should keep asking for me and people should stop acting like punks toward folks asking for whatever they want.

It’s so funny how they have resorted to shill for the company “Blizz is just giving you wat you wanted”, like bruh. We are talking about Blizz here, with one of the worst customization system of modern MMOs, we should always be ready to ask for more.

Some are even suggesting that Void Elves not get anything further because they received High Elf customizations. It’s laughable really.

If I recall that is what started the hostilities, it was me stating that I haven’t received anything I wanted for Void Elves outside White/Black hair.

But I’ll have you know that I don’t deserve anything further because some community got what they wanted. I should sit down and just be happy for them instead of asking for what I want.

It’s a discussion. People state their position, others state theirs. And yeah, it turns into full on debates. People on both sides have things they want and care about. Some connect to the high elf fantasy and want to play one. Others think that it interferes with the identity of the blood elves. People on both sides are passionate about what they want, and what matters most to them and that’s fine.

It definitely prompts discussion though, and it can get heated. But it’s not necessarily about horde pride vs alliance pride, or bias, or wanting to punish people for playing a specific side. For some people, maybe, but I wouldn’t say they are the majority.

I’ve also seen and experienced some pretty vile behavior from helf fans too, which is why I no longer care about the race. I am happy for the decent high elf fans who will now have more tools to rp high elves. I also like the alliance as well, even if the story sucks.
