Imagine my dissapointment when I was the only person to die during a pull in Spires of Ascension.
We get ready for a nice healthy pull with the two Forsworn Goliaths and he made the DPS happy by dragging in the serpents. The tank has designated the interrupt rotation for each. We all go in as a team, merry and angry to demolish the pack as quickly as possible.
Double tap is hit, Lust is popped, i let loose my explosive shot, round out with my Kyrian Arrow then splat.
I look around and i was the only carcass … A missed interrupt, yes, the cause, fault and main issue of the pull.
But but but but i was the only splat splat…

Double tap + Aimed Shot could have pulled a serpent or two, so you could have had a DoT running on you, effectively lowering your health enough that when a Rebellious Fist went off from a missed interrupt, it was enough to make you go splat.
Were you running Recount or Details! by chance? Could have looked at your death and saw what happened.
I know what happened, i got WCL for it. (yes i log M+ cause i like to review stuff). I was more interested in telling a story as well as pointing out that the group survived the first Reb Fist bar the hunter. At the end of the day a reb fist on a +21 should be a wipe or close to with just the tank living (bar immunities like … turtle! but i didnt think it would go off)
The tank had CDs running, the Priest had only just popped rapture and started on the tank, DH had nothing running, lock had nothing running. I was waiting for the serpents to get in range so I, and correction, hadn’t even popped Resonating Arrow yet.
I took 56k dmg, and died, lock took that dmg and lived, DH took 4x something, and lived priest had fade and lived. Tank got a little scratch.
It was a woopsy on the missed interrupt, it happens. This group has done this exact pull many times together.

I do have to agree that when I’m on my hunter I feel more squishy than any other class. RIP me on lich boss in ToP. That b***** hurts.

Common Hunter complaint. I feel the same Compared to my way less geared 60 lvl alts especially my Boomkin and somewhat in regards to my Destro lock. Might be a Mail wearer issue My Ele Shaman seems a to be a bit squishier than my Lock as well.
Did you Misdirect? Sounds like you might not have. Never go full DPS without a Misdirect.

Hahahaha, yes a common cause. This instance however, i was far from the fracas, but close enough for the Rebellious Fist cast to splatter me.
Which is funny since our class description states: “Masters of survival in the harshest environments!”. Paladins and Druids are that way —>.

I have definitely been getting “why is the hunter the only one to die” vibes. My last two TOP runs- lowest on damage taken but still somehow most deaths. To be fair one per run was technically avoidable, but still…
Always MD to Tank via Macro/WA focus target esp when Casting big hitters like Wild Spirits {Not many as BM we nibble not much bite}
