also im taking summer classes so i didnt even have time off for the summer
theres tons of people in my class who are way older than me too
Yeah, not shaming anyone really, i got my phd two years ago myself. Just saying that’s generally not the trend 
It’s a trend. I’m pretty sure the majority of doctorates are not people who went K-PhD. Average age of doctoral recipients in the US is like 32. I’ll be… 37 myself.
