I know it’s a hard concept to grasp, but let me explain again.
You can be good at something and still actively dislike how it plays. I very much preferred FS with it’s very well timed burst windows, that were not based on RNG, than AR in which you’re basically sending RG on CD if you are extremely lucky with souls procs, or you are praying for a DA proc when your RM falls off and your sigils are not ready to use.
Yes, AR is a garbage tree gameplay wise, and even though in tuning it looks good in raids, it’s only temporal, and I’d rather trade tuning for fun any day of the week (not like this should be a choice, a spec should be feel good to play and perform good no matter what)
I never have trouble generating souls nor does anyone else otherwise there would be post left and right about it. You are trolling big time. Above you also claim Havoc is mid in M+, they are top end of A- tier updated 1 day ago on wowhead.
I got bad RNG more than once in which I just don’t generate souls past the opener and I drop RM, and then I’m scrapping miserably for a soul or two while reevaluating my life choices.
And yes, Havoc is aggressively mid in M+ because there are at least 10 specs with better profile, tuning or a combination of both.
Sustained DPS profiles unless overtuned massively ARE NOT good in M+. Hell, they are only decent in raid while in prog while kill times remain long.
They made a conscious decision to force everyone into AR by deleting AMN and replacing it with a talent only AR plays. The complete lack of FS changes with these most recent “major” class changes proves we’re in the “we don’t want you to play FS” era.
They buffed other underperforming hero trees while ignoring Havocs problems as usual.
AR is way better than FS was last season to play. FS could have been great IF we were not bottlenecked into lining up huge burst/shatter windows with inertia/essence break.
currently enjoying havoc now that we actually play well.
anyone complaining is a skill issue period. sorry you have to focus on playing for more than a 4-5 second interval.
Oh yeah man lining up those 3 damage amps was so much worse and required so much more brain power than raw chaos striking hoping you get one more soul just for the damage profile to be a flat line
Sustained is a good thing on long boss and in between packs. I’m progging through 11s and yes, I can beat uncapped AoE classes in overall.
Having prio target burst is a good thing. We can’t be good at everything. We are great sustained. We have moderate aoe burst every 20s. We have really great aoe boss cleave. And we have very good ST damage with AR.
I hated the essence break window. I hated that tiny burst window. The standard AR build is a lot of fun and very strong. Also eyebeam trucks after AR.
sounds like you and your tick tock brain are struggling now that you have to actually pay attention.
give it time you’ll get the hang of it. or just continue to show your true colors and lack of skill.

I actually have been having so much fun doing content on my havoc. its been multiple expacs since I could say this. its very refreshing and I hope blizzard see’s the big win here with all the people returning to havoc and continues in this direction instead of listening to the fel hammer mods/elitists.
the fel hammer crowd and colossal smash window sympathizers seem to be the only ones not happy with havoc. good, go back to your old mains and quit ruining the class/spec.

This damage profile isn’t any different to how it was during Sinful Brand days. I’d even say you had more AoE burst potential back then with Meta applying SB in an AoE fashion. Right now you basically have none.
Enjoy it while it lasts, I guess. For me, AR represents the worst iterations of Havoc, all put together in one.
You are extremely annoying. Both me and donkey are Mythic CE players, stop deluding yourself.
We just don’t like the tree because it plays horribly and we don’t like RNG dictating whether we perform or not.
Also another tip. You can not like AR and you can also not like the minigame of not stacking 5 different DPS windows (something you are also currently doing as AR, and if you are not doing it you are playing the tree wrong). We just prefer FS because it had a better damage profile and it played better than AR, that’s all. FS is also objectively a bad tree.
Hell, Havoc would be better without Hero trees at all.
Wouldn’t fel scarred require you to pay attention more because you have to line so many things up? You can pretty much just yolo reavers glaives and do 85% of your sim dps currently….

using rng as an excuse as to why you cannot play havoc now that it actually requires you to play the game more than just small little windows it kind of pitiful. my guy, get off tik tok, put the phone down and maybe do something that requires you to be present for a length of time. trust me it will help build those fortitude wrinkles in your brain!
nice cope. not true but ok. havoc is finally enjoyable now that stacking multiple damage windows to preform well is not mandatory.
you only needed to pay attention for that small 5 second window every 40 seconds or so. after that you could pretty much afk and do 95% of your sim…
the current style is way more and involved which is obviously hard for players now as they are not adjusted to needing to be focused on something for more than 5-10 seconds before having downtime to recover mentally.
