Why would Reshanor have a belt in it’s loot table? Why would any boss in this content have one that isn’t over 701? I don’t even want to look to see if they drop cloaks. All three of the first raid bosses drop a belt also. Smh …

Gear this season will have the potential to go to a higher ilvl than the charged belt. Also, transmog.

Belts are fine. DISC will probably get nerfed once RWF is over.
None of the current season content drops cloaks. Timewalking does but that’s timewalking so who cares.
No, belt drops are not ok.
Plenty of season content drop belts and cloaks, mostly weekly caches, and no, I am not referring only to timewalking cache.
Many specs are gonna use the belt for entirety of the expansion.
getting cloaks and belts is a big problem for people who do not engage in group content, it also significantly slows gearing of alts.
It’s massive failure/oversight on blizzard’s part.
They just released a hotfix to address it, hopefully it’s gonna work correctly now.

Well, if someone got to 80 a short time ago and didn’t like Delves, probably they’d be happy to get a 680 belt without the hassle of doing Delves.
For those of us who do have the belt, how long will it be until it becomes outdate, as the ring from Siren Isles has done? Gear is an ever-evolving thing in this game.
I actually thought about it this arvo - we play to get gear so we can be stronger to be able to play to get gear. It is what it is, I guess.
Any belt that can scale higher than 701 is an upgrade over DISC IMO. I’ll happily take static stats over more dumb procs.
Cyrce’s Circlet was BiS for everyone until the end of season 2.
The belt will be BiS for some specs for some time.
These do give the ability to have tier transmog, but is still frustrating when it’s unusable.

At this point Blizzard should just make an extra item slot tied to the seasonal item.

It takes less than 15 minutes of effort to get the disc belt with a proc that is significantly better than the wasted gear slot they received from what should be an exciting/interesting moment. Stop defending bad.

I have a belt in my bags that will be better than the DISC belt when it’s 700 ilvl or higher.
Aside from the fact you are 632 ilvl and I doubt any of this is relevant to you at all, you then have to ask yourself the question of why any dev time was spent on this belt with it’s own upgrade system and unique interface with multiple powers that apply to pve content as well as delves, if it’s just going to be replaced early on. Am I supposed to just equip this for delves?? I’ll probably just forget and blast the delve with my boring old stat stick belt.

Right. Because you’re a very important person that needs to hide their main lest we all be blown away by who you really are. Either that or you have something to hide. No one really cares.
I keep saying this. It’s baffling how many slots are just randomly locked every patch.
The game already has the extra gear slot. Re-enable the third weapon/accessory slot that was used for Relics, Librams, etc. and dedicate it to the new seasonal thing.
(Or just stop making them)
And yes belt drops feel bad right now.
The belt is T R A S H for some classes / specs. Just because it remains BiS for one doesn’t mean A L L … Oh, and as someone mentioned earlier, not everyone cares to run delves, regardless of the loot they can get.
You use it in all content if it’s good for your class. Like Cyrce’s Circlet.
Overcharged Delves no longer exist, nor does the talent system on the belt.
