I mean we get it Sylvanas is way too op for all of us, but how teldrassil just failed that much to protect itself… Night elves ? isn’t it shameful? and we The Alliance still treat horde nicely ! They came, conquered our lands, slaughtered our people. Used draenei and our races as energy to make portal . Now we just treat them nicely ?
Shouldn’t we slaughter them in pvp,raids and usually whenever we see them? maybe blizzard does all this because we alliance players suck so much? and have no spirit

I mean, this probably goes over in the retail side of things, but here’s why Teldrassil failed to protect itself: it is far easier to destroy a thing than to keep something from being destroyed.
Once Malfurian and Tyrande were off the board, there was no problem getting catapults into position. Fire is not a friend to giant trees. Honestly, if you were going to complain to anyone, the groups you should rag on are all those Alliance mages who couldn’t be bothered to open portals for civilians, and the Draenei not being able to stop dancing on the tables in Goldshire long enough to fire up their spaceship and come help.

Change your topic location on Mary Suevanas to General forums and get it out of Classic forums. In Classic times Sylvanas actually had a meaningful and respectable character arc and Nathanos was a mob we alliance murdered in EPL.

Nope, its just us maybe, the alliance is weakened. We have no spirit for PVP or raids so horde gets favors.
Remember, everything in the game is to scale. This means that Teldrassil was actually many miles offshore. Either these catapults are actually shooting cruise missiles or it’s simply another handwaving non-explanation.

This will always bug me. Catapults. Sylvanas should’ve made the newly joined Nightborne prove their allegiance and had their mages firebomb the tree. Would’ve made for a better story.

It is because blizzard wanted the horde to win so they had to intentionally ignore an orbital space ship with a mega lazer and can put teleportation beacons on the ground, allowing land troops to go from point A to point B in a manner of seconds because “it would cause problems”. Blizzard didn’t even think of a half-arsed excuse as to why said space ship was not used. They simply left it out because “we need horde to win”.
This my friends is an example of terrible writing. Something that would plague BFA for its whole lifetime.

Darnassus was an inside job the NEs NEVER should’ve left Nomi alone in their kitchens thanks to their ineptitude we lost the entire cookie factory

Deathwing managed to damage Teldrassil but not conflagrate it and where he didn’t burn the entirety of Teldrassil some catapults with range of modern day artillery managed to do so. it burned because the dumpy horde fan service writers of the turd in the toilet that is BfA wanted it to. They wanted to give horde fans their ‘fist pumping moment’ because for some reason those meatheaded muppets thought SoO was the ‘Alliance fist pumping moment’. They are that out of touch.
