Remember that scene in Legion where she was torturing Eyir and that lantern broke, then the QUEEN OF THE VALKY’R was free and Sylvanas was just staring dumbly at Genn?
She was a hand-swat away from just being gone, right there. Eyir didn’t have to retreat. Just - bam. Right there. Holy Light and she’s ashes. Gone. She did not have Jailer powers. El-Deleto the Elfo.
Eyir had no reason whatsoever to run at that point. She was free, power was back, and Sylvanas was talking mad poop for someone in swatting distance.
Sylvanas was not just playing stupid games, she was playing suicidal games and should have won first place in that competition. Attacking immensely powerful, ancient beings and getting away with just a finger-wag is not how things go. The quest-giver for that even said Eyir wasn’t friendly, like, at all. And you earned the championship rights.
The problem is that Shadowlands is just another Sylvanas expansion…
I wish they’d stop doing World of Sylvanascraft, it’s so awful to have a mary sue in your story that is stronger than everyone else, never loses and never gets punished for her crimes.
she seems like at most the deuteragonist. the villains the jailer. in fact sylvanas hasnt even showed up from what ive seen. im betting we kill her in 9.2 or she shows up as the second to last boss like aggramar.

Man, Sylvanas is the only character to feature in 3 intro cinematic for expansions in a row. No other character did appear in more than 1 intro, but Sylv is in 3 in a row.
I have my lore predictions but as for sylvanas she is a strong woman taking on either a role of the smart and cunning villain. My wife and I love wow lore and are constantly researching new places and people who play a part in it. I have been leveling through old content with her and her boyfriend and we have found so many Easter eggs. I just think people should be more open to her as a character and be excited for her development
when was the other ones ? outside of battle for azeroth where we barely see her doing anything and was only an expansion made to make her into a disney vilain no other expansion was about “her”

if anything sylvanas has lost more than any other characters in the lore , all her plan fails , she died 3 time ectect how exactly is she a mary sue ?
sylvanas only ever happened to be showed to be stronger than bolvar who was a downgrade lich king who sat in ice for 5 years right after dying and being ressurected by being burn by the red dragon flight , he never trained his power , never worked out never got used to his new form and body ectect anyone could have easily 1v1 him
the other only time we see her fight anyone else its malfurion and it was pretty equal and if anything she was loosing before saurfang came to help

many MANY characters in wow don’t get punished for their crimes but because now it concern your race now you care about justice , nice double standards
