Why streamers need to announce their chosen realm

You seem highly confused. I am not saying they should have a designated realm. THEY (the mega-streamers) already said THEY will have a designated realm that they all play on. That was their choice, not mine. I’m simply asking that they clarify WHICH realm that is so that literally hundreds of thousands of Classic players can have a shot at reserving their names and finding a realm with their friends and guildmates.

and I answered that. It’s nobody’s business but their own, as long as they have an active subscription they can create a character on any server they like (heck they can make one on each server).
Sorry but you are asking for something that you don’t have the right to ask for.
I honestly hope they all roll on the servers they said they would not roll on just to watch the forums explode . would be glorious (if any big streamers are reading this please do that)

They had time to announce their servers, and people respectfully waited.

Then they decided to only list two (2) servers - which was okay, but rather vague as it limits players.

Then they started trolling by just throwing every name out there.

So the actual players - who are not their followers, and a mature base - decided to pick their servers, not wasting their effort arguing with streamers.

Then some of them clapped back by saying how if we play on their server, their experience is ruined. That’s far from the truth, as many of them have sent videos of them complaining for stream-snipers. If they think it was bad during testing, just imagine when they actually want to play their character through any outdoor contested zone.

Streamers think players are upset to play with them - which is also far from the truth. We just don’t want to deal with their followers.

Not sure if you know this, bud, but you can opt out of general chat. It is one of the chat options.

The only part of their fan base that will have any pull is their small inner circle… and that would be the same if they were a GM of a big guild. As long as you are a decent person and give a crap about performance when other peoples’ time depends on it… you won’t have a problem. You probably won’t even notice they’re there.

Hell, in Vanilla the big guilds on my server used to roam WPL and kill horde that were leveling in groups of 20-30… at least with streamers I know when they’re coming.

Like I said, you just can’t fathom the idea of ignoring it.

Most are waiting because their fans will reroll to be on whatever server they are on, and some probably would push a sizable amount of people away, and they really dont want to roll on a server that doesn’t have a sizeable non streamer population.

No one wants to reroll at 20 because your server ended up low pop and you dont want to be there, most people prob want to be on a populated server since the econ on low pop servers just makes doing everything far harder.

Its also been a minute since we had server choice, p servers were 1 pvp 1 pve, if you were lucky enough to get both rulesets on just just pvp.

We’ll use you as example.

If your choice to play on a specific server negatively impacts the experience of everybody else on that server because all of your friends and family that followed you are racist and sexist, would you get upset if the people on that server didn’t like you being there?

So you are saying that I’m being judged by the actions of others ? yes that would upset me. Judge me based on me not on others.
