You are wasting your time and the others. Blizzard can you put a shield to not be able to attack others in the first 5 min of the event?. This would balance the pvp part a little at least to not be one shot in the first 1-2 mins when event starts.
I hope tomorrow maintenance is to fix this bad event devs. It needs some big fixes in OP attacks, RNG, renown rep gains are too slow.
The event the way it is now is frustrating, boring, tedious, very unbalanced. Sometimes you cant even do the WQ because someone comes and kills you in the first minute. You dont receive any rep and have to queue again waiting 60/60 and 1 more minute.
The only healing spell got too much cd you need to buff it to help the survavility. This event needs a lot of changes and fixes. I hope Mop event dont be like this.

5 min is way too long, but I do agree there should be a short period of no attacking players, maybe 30 seconds or so
Sounds like you already know the answer.
Nah, those players are doing it right. Working as designed.
The problem is that a battle royale is, by design, PVP. Just with rng drops and a shrinking arena. And there’s a reason PVP is, next to pet battles, the forgotten red-headed stepchild of content in WoW: hecking boring.
I’m glad for PVPers, if they’re happy I guess? I dunno, if I were into PVP I don’t think “WoW Battle Royale” would be at the top of my wish list.
You can tell who the PVPers are vs who the PVErs are.
PVPers will jump on people at the start because “ItS A pVp mOde”
PvErs will leave people alone, do their quest, then possibly engage in PVP.
You don’t play a lot of BR games do you…

All you have to do is look at the pvpers here on this forum as to why they do this.
Thats the entire reason.
