Why solo shuffle is not worth playing

so this usally happens to me as a healer in solo shuffle
option a : 1 dps is bad so each healer gets 3 rounds with that bad player, everyone targets and kills him, tie = 0 points
option b: the enemy healer played better than you maybe you went 5-1 or 4-2 you get -60-70 points ok you lost its fine q again
option c : healers are equally match 0 points
option d you win 5-1 or even 6-0 you get 30 points

my point?i just dont play solo shuffle at all broken system , let dps have 2 vs 2 in solo shuffle and be done with it

Option A: Something to do.
Option B: Something to do.
Option C: Something to do.
Option D: Sometimes you win more than you lose :slight_smile:

option e: since no healers are queueing, you end up in a group with 2 placements (<1000 rating). You end up winning 6-0 as healer, and get 0 points, despite being at 1600MMR and a positive W/L.

Except you have to wait an hour in between each one of those ques as a dps. So it really isn’t something to do.

You can do world quests or professions between qs :slight_smile:

Option e: your a HPal or Rsham facing Rduid or evoker and have no way to win. Instant leave for me.

Option F: You load in to the arena and ask the other DPS what their target preference is. No response. You ask again with 10 seconds left. No response. I tell them I’m going to CC the healer. Match Starts. They pop all their CDs on a DPS. I trap the healer. They break the trap even though the healer is a solid 20 yards away. Rinse and repeat for a few minutes. I die. Next round i get the same healer. “You’re trash bro.” Lose 4 matches and 50 rating.

Looking at the solo shuffle bracket it looks like a few healers figured out how to break out of elo hell.
I suspect that healers are so sought after that you can be pretty meh at healing and still you’re able to get teammates hundreds of rating better than yourself in 3v3. It probably does feel pretty bad when you have to be the difference maker in your matches alone.

Good thing about shuffle though! Instant queues for healers with 6 rounds of arena. It’s a great way to get better if you stop blaming everyone else, and just try to fix your mistakes.

The win/loss point ratio is stupid. -50 points for being in a group with someone that is undergeared or targeted because they suck. A loss shouldn’t be that high if a win is barely 30

Yep exactly this. They want to fix the lack of healers and then they ruin their matchmaking by tanking healer ratings.

Just got back to back prot paladin games after each 25+ minute queue.

Would have waited twice as long for a disc priest with 800 ping.

What a tragedy of a game mode.

Oh yeah you forgot waiting 15+ minutes for a game, winning 3 rounds and having someone leave so you get nothing. I don’t care that someone I’m never gonna see again got a 15 minute timeout, I only care that I have to spend another 15-20 minutes in queue and HOPE it doesn’t happen again.

i honestly love it. its not perfect and the queue times could most def be shorter. but its so much fun.
