Congrats! Wish granted!
You can do this with every store item. 0 store items require shelling out more money.
I have paid 0 dollars for the store items I have obtained. Due to the fact they are all able to be earned through in game actions.

neat /headpat.
you can see why others cant do what you do though right?
plays with your ears
Sounds like its their problem.
There is an easy avenue for getting any store item from in game actions. If people donât want to take this avenueâŚthat is a personal issue.
It does not mean they are required to shell out money for store purchases.
it does not mean they need yet another way to earn the items in game.
It keeps in line with a variety of other aesthetic items on vendors that cost gold.
All my favorite pay to win mmorpgs do this, what could go wrong here?
Especially since it is free for people who have or will buy the 6 month subscription.
Equating a mog option with pay-to-win schemes? Spicy.
Pay to win Trial of Style?
Can you explain how you do it?
I think my taurens would look bizarre with fae fairy wings. Do they get ginormous like these shoulders?
Earn gold.
Farm old raids, find things that sell in the AH. Do your gold WQs emissaries, etc.
oh my god dont be cute with me explain little cutie
Which ones?
Itâs called testing the waters.
If they can get away with it and make a profit, customer loyalty means zilt.
Thatâs why they rely on Whales to make up for profits instead of sub numbers.
Asmongold raged about it on his stream today, so I immediately went to the shop and got it.
I donât really care about the store items, but:
Is a fair point. Itâd be nice if we got more goofy mogs without gold being the medium and instead had some earned through ingame means (questing/achievement/secret). Kind of like the Bloodsail outfit being from joining the Bloodsail folks.
I usually do a run through WoD raids, for example. 3-4k per difficulty I think? I dont pay attention to specific numbers at this point. Just run in, kill all the raid mobs, vendor the junk. Not much of a time investment. Something I can do with a movie on, watching a ball game, etc.
Do that across difficulties, on a couple different toons. Will have some steady gold coming in. Can buy a wow token off the AH. Turn it into bnet balance. Buy whatever ya want.
Are you still doing this or are you going by what you used to do before the prepatch. People on the beta and PTR said it was nerfed a lot, and the raids are harder.
Microtransactions are mainly seen in free to play games because thatâs how they make their money back, subscription based games usually donât have them and in addition that that, subscription based games are usually free too so Blizzard is kinda triple dipping because they charge us full price for the game, a subscription fee and even then theyâre still diverting resources away from game to make store items.
On top of all of that crap, theyâre now profiting from gold sales and thatâs being reflected in their obsession with gold sinks in recent years. Donât you remember when youâd hit exalted and buy a mount for 1 silver? Now you hit exalted and they want you to hand over hundreds of thousands of gold as well lol
TLDR: Blizzard is greedy.
I havent attempted since pre patch, but I know I have guildies that have been running old content of various types for mog runs.
Granted in a level squish pre patch I do expect things to be a little wonky initially. Happened last time.
Because we wish they would spend more time making stuff like this that we can earn in game.
Make it a holiday or a cheevo reward. It seems like they care more about their cash shop then their actual games .
Thereâs a distinct difference between âI paid for thisâ and âI Earned this.â
did you do that since pre-patch and has it been affected by the recent old raid nerfs?
