To begin with a character has to be a level 10 to use the Darmassis portal in SWC which means a lower level can’t go there to quest. If a high level uses the portal, they get dumped on Darkshore. They can’t fly their mount to Darmassis. The only way to get a flight masters is to talk to Zidormi and time travel.
I went to Exodar. Apparently I have no flight point to Darmassis and the ship no longer runs.
Darnassus is undergoing maintenance at the moment.
Blizzard gave up on anything that’s not new expansion pay them money now, a long, long time ago.
My level 37 just took the portal from SWC to Rut’theran Village
I thought you can fly a mount there. Especially with dragons being much faster now.
I think a mage portal can help you out, those shouldn’t have level restrictions.
If I can get clarification on this; what situation calls for going there before level 10? Isn’t that what your class starting area or exiles reach is for?
Probably because in the present the tree is nothing but a smoldering husk…
Mage portal didn’t work. I had a guildie make me one and still got sent to Darkshore.
One cannot simply get to Darnassus.
It’s fun to take new character to a different starting area. For example, I’ve had guildies fly my new human up to Coldridge Valley. Or bring a gnome or a dwarf down to Northshire

Present darkshore needs to be disabled until higher level to stop this nonsense.
Pretty sure Darnassus was burnt to the ground by sylvanus which is why tyrande was just a tad crazy for a couple of xpacs
I mean you could but i think darnasses wouldn’t be loaded as a result. it would just be a empty tree.
