Why skirmish is deliberately disabled in cata prepatch?

Prepatch is a great time to test out new abilities and talents in arena skirmish settings

Every prepatch before, we were able to skirmish

Vanilla → TBC prepatch (skirmish enabled)
TBC → WOTLK prepatch (skirmish enabled)
WOTLK → cata pre patch (skirmish disabled???)

Any reason why skirmish is deliberately disabled in this prepatch only?

This and the fact that resilience was broken during first week of prepatch tells me that blizzard sees pvpers as 2nd class citizens

A quick google search reveals that Arena Skirmishes were removed in Cataclysm. They are not re-introduced until Warlords of Draenor.

You have two choices.

  1. Play Cata as Blizzard resents to you.
  2. Play something else.

That is all.
