Well, right now, the Alliance is facing a story roadblock. And really, the cause of that, IMO, is Alliance players trying to dictate to Blizzard what is and is not appropriate for their NPC leadership to do.
At the same time, many members of the Alliance have expressed, at least on these forums, that the Alliance has a boring storyline.
Well, storylines without conflict are not interesting. If there continues to be indignation in reaction to anything morally dubious that Alliance leaders choose to do, their story will remain uninteresting.
Tyrande and Malfurion need to make an ultimatum to Anduin. Help us retake our land, our weâre leaving your Alliance. Create that conflict. Make that leap. Win back Darkshore, replant Teldrassil, the whole shebang â but make it costly.
I suggest killing off Malfurion â and leaving Tyrande a single parent.
I was, I also explained that Blizz sat down and took an ogre sized expletive on the lore. So, over the years as I said, I learned to see it for what it is- just a game. Originally, I had emotional feelings over things. I did. i was a proud Horde player! A veteran that I been around since the Warcraft beginning. But, as time went on, I lost all that. Thereâs nothing really here besides a game generating monthly income for a corporation.
The writers have come and gone, designers, itâs fun to play and get my mounts and stuff, but with all my knowledge of the lore and original love for the game, itâs been gone for a decade. You must have missed the end part of my post here I say- I gave up. It doesnât matter.
It would be like in history if it could just randomly change for no rhyme or reason. Why have historians? The lore can go to places that make no sense, characters will do whatever is likely to generate the most profit- same with what races will join what faction. Once I saw this as just any other game, that the things happening in it were about making more cash, I felt free and good playing it again, whereas before, I was stressed and slowly grew to hate it- because I cared more about it and the lore than the actual company making it! lol
I bet Blizzard is going to use the Saurfang/Anduin relationship to unite the Alliance and Horde to fight the âpowerful thing that shadowsâ that whispered to Volâjin to make Sly war chief. she will die and we will all fight whatever it is together.
I actually disagree. I think he should die reviving Teldrassil, expending his full strength to accelerate its growth. Afterward, while his body dies, he should become a spirit limited exclusively to the Emerald Dream â which Tyrande cannot access.
You did not canonically take back Darkshore âalreadyâ. Thatâs an assumption being made about flavor text on a toy. At this point in time âcanonicallyâ the factions are still fighting over it.
Another ignorant post from another horde player who didnât read âBefore the Stormâ and seems to be ignorant to the greater lore and interactions between faction leaders in general. Siding with Sylvanas is morally wrong in every instance. Even if youâre on her side, she is liable to murder you in cold blood just to use you for her own means, like she did to her own civilians because she was worried some might want to leave her.
Guess Im the opposite. I only ever played this game for the MMO aspects and only really started to care about the lore around Legion. Thatâs not to say I didnât know a lot, itâs kind of hard to ignore the story since you play it out. I just didnât care about the direction at all. Whatever happened was going to happen. Now I find myself caring about what happens to races and characters.
no one talk about females here⌠are you projecting? cause there is lot of reasons to hates elves for beyond gender, this thread exemplify pretty well
