Exploiting is taking advantage of the bug by KNOWING it’s a bug and doing it anyways. IE: It’s malicious.

But a lot of players do not know whats a exploit for classic that never played vanilla

Pretty much killed our raid night. 40 people log on for nothing. Now it’s fragmented and a lot of them can’t log in while others can.

They’ll likely patch it but that’ll be the end of it. Not really an exploit if you’re getting 1.5-2.5k honor per game. Seems reasonable to hit 100k. There will be NO ROLL BACK

You’re not wrong and to that extent classic is a bit new territory, however the playerbase can still be held accountable for something obvious. For example if the bosses had been bugged to have 1HP we’d all know something was up. Our real world example was that when the dungeon exploit was discovered with layers people who exploited that got hit hard and that’s actually where Blizzard came out and pointed out that intent is a deciding factor. It is the playerbase’s responsibility to sit and think when doing something that seems to good to be true and go “Yeah, you know, maybe I shouldn’t be able to reset the last boss of the dungeon 50 times in a row”

Ultimately it’s very obvious to me if anything is being done about AV it won’t get classified as an exploit. There’s just no evidence to support the idea that players would know it was a bug and were knowingly exploiting it.
