Why separate Primalist "catch-up" gear?

Why separate the Forbidden Reach gear into Plate/Mail/Leather/Cloth?

It seems needlessly time consuming to outfit alts like this, especially when you’re on a particular class and everything else drops except the armor that class wears.

Why not just make the gear drops universal, once used, the item then becomes Plate, etc. ?

Given how much it drops, you’re going to have bank-alts full of the stuff in a month anyway.

Here’s your answer. Must feed the time played metric! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is a very simple, effective, and intelligent solution, and one that Blizzard have had a precedent of doing in the past in WoD.

So of course it won’t happen, silly!

You’re really complaining about welfare epics?

I still have a bank alt on a server full of timeless isle gear.

To make players grind it longer. That’s the only reason the tokens are separated by armor type.

Go grind in the War Creche.

Or be like me and keep getting Cloth tokens when my only Cloth class already has a full primal 385 set… Sigh.

Granted, but in exchange the gear drops at a much lower rate than it currently does.

I finally nuked mine before this xpac, lol

So you play more. WoW isn’t much of a grind compared to other MMOs, but it’s still a bit of one.

I really don’t mind the system at all, it’s pretty quick getting new alts going.
