I’m perfectly fine with Ysera being brought pack. That’s the purpose of Ardenweald after all. Losing Malfurion, someone who isn’t meant to be reborn in such a way, will be a much bigger blow.
That and I honestly don’t care for Malfurion. He COULD have been an awesome character, full of wisdom when the situation called for it, and full of teeth and death when that was called for as well. Instead, he was just kind of…there.
He could have confronted Illidan when he came back, or tried to reconcile, or even to condemn his destructive obsession. But he didn’t. He could have been interesting, but he wasn’t. He just traded bland banter with Xavious and then chilled with his drinking buddy, Cenarius, afterwards when we saved his butt.
I, uh, may have strong feelings regarding Malfurion’s characterization. But in any case, I’ll take sweet dragon demi-god over bland whiney antlered ‘Didn’t-even-bother-to-help-his-wife-in-the-Shadowlands’ Malfurion any day.
She was resurrected by the Winter Queen and bound to Ardenweald, she should remain there until Elune decides to bring her back or not as the story suggested.
The Night Elves shouldn’t have the power to manipulate death or the realm, unless the story suggest that Elune wants this.
Which I hope is for a good reason, otherwise she should stay in Ardenweald.
because ysera was poorly handled in the first place imo. if she had to die it should have been her inflicting heavy casualties against the legion.(like a better version of varians death.) NOT xavius making her go insane and corrupting her. that was dumb. yeah it might have still been emotionally impactful but it was in a hamhanded and cheap way like the enemy was using an iwin button.
