I am curious why so many hunters and paladins and there are few rogues out there

stuff like say epics after the door opens rogues go do rogue things. Back caps, sneak in enemy AV/ashran camp, sap straglers off of gy runs.
Rogues not really built for zerg bashes imo. I do them when no choice. But its preferred to sneak around and do other things.

But they can heal and have a ranged dps spec.
Its one of the harder classes to play and in a mythic setting its harder to find raid spots.
They also dont have massive BIG numbers like some of the other melee to as well as a good chunk of their damage is auto attacks

Rogue is the least popular class. They are useless, is their main problem. How many miles can anyone really get out of spamming sap on people? They are a liability in PVE, great for annoying people by hiding in arenas and running the clock for 3 minutes before dying.

Hello, I see you posted a thread about Rogues. Rogues, unlike so many other classes, have a higher skill ceiling in order to maximize the class. It’s one of those, “easy to play, hard to master” sort of scenarios. If you know anything about the majority of WoW players, doing anything remotely difficult is out of the question!

You make it a game. I got up to 6 saps back to back the road to alliance ashran last night. One after the other. Damned DH had to ruin that fun with vision cast.
some also take it a bit “personal” then burn time to hunt you down. which is fine…them burning a minute on the road is 1 minute they aren’t where they could be doing better things for their team.
I did support in eve for years. My stance here is one does not always have to kill an enemy. you just need to have it so the enemy isn’t killing your people so well. tie up some people a few moments…helps get that zerg bash odds more in your favor sometimes.

Don’t be simping for your favorite rogue streamer. Everyone knows it true, even rogues 
Shroud was made less valuable in M+.
Has little/no utility for raid groups.
DH overlaps on the edgy leather melee theme.
Harder to play then average class.
Melee DPS only, which is less desirable then ranged, and doesn’t have tank as fallback.
Managing swords/daggers drops for spec switch is annoying.
Needs a refresh.
Rogues had a moment in 8.0 when they dummied Zul and melee kicks / Shroud was mega value in M+. Haven’t heard from them since.
(Rogue/Mage still good PvP, as always).
