Why push this patch?

That’s kinda all I have to say in regards to this patch. Why?

Housing, arguably the biggest selling point of Midnight, is currently dead. Sure hope the houses of my friends are still in one piece. They spent a lot of love and care into building their customized homes to fit their characters. I didn’t at this time but I sure seen some masterpieces that are in limbo right now.

You completely butchered MM MID SEASON while adding new M+ achievements that I know I could reach prior to this. Now I’m not sure as I now have to play a Hero Spec I have limited experience in with my class feeling much worse. I don’t have AotC yet! Why would you push these changes when they’re not even fleshed out?!

I’m more mad that you brought back Explosive Shot and made it utter dogwater. A cool ability that I can’t use if I want to do competitive DPS because of the abhorrent GCD change.

Prop Hunt is fun…When people can’t cheat. What’s worse was how easy it is to do. We figured it out in half an hour. Even the most basic testing could have prevented this. You’ll understand once you know how it was done.

Twice I received no reward due to no participation, despite tagging someone and surviving to the last minute. Twice. I was staying up late with my friend to push getting the hourglass toy to see what it was. At least he got to get it.

Void Assaults are the most drawn out events I’ve ever seen. And one of them isn’t even really an assault, it’s just some spies sneaking around, you poke a cat to reveal them…And it takes 10 minutes? Why does it take so long? The ethereal one has you kill hundreds of ethereals. Eventually. Really slowly. It’s not really as bombastic of an assault as I was expecting.

Like you ever played Payday 2? You see the //POLICE ASSAULT IN PROGRESS :skull: :skull: :skull: :skull:// banner and you know things are about to go down in a big way. This wasn’t quite that.

The abyss diving was the most fun thing of the bunch, on the grounds that it was the most functional. I’ll probably do that for my Abundance from now on.

I dunno. This whole patch feels very half baked. Even more so than 11.1.5. And I mean, at least 11.1.5 had Undermine to fall back on. I don’t know why this was released in such a state when there’s so many other issues that needed addressed.

The MM changes certainly shouldn’t have been pushed without more testing. I would’ve loved to test it but I couldn’t get into the PTR so :dracthyr_shrug: I could’ve told you it was also a bit underbaked!

I’m only saying that because they said in the past it was because people don’t join PTR. I mean, when I can’t I guess that’s a valid excuse.

“People loved the cadence of releases in Legion, so we must release at the same pace!”

That’s the basic logic. They looked at player engagement in Legion and tried to figure out what drove it - and all they came away with was “it was the cadence.” So now apparently they believe even if they release garbage patches, players will like them as long as they are frequent enough.

I agree this patch didn’t need to be released now. Seems like it has done more harm than good.

I’ve kinda felt this way about WoW, for a while now.

Not just the patches, but I was vocal about the sped-up expansion cadence and how half-baked stuff is these days, being the standard rule rather than the exception.

Since DF, even prior to that, almost every major patch breaks something and it goes on unfixed for a period of time.

Midnight pre-patch broke login screen transmogs, and that’s an issue even today.

I have to continually go into edit mode to get my raid frames to appear, whenever I’m doing Rated PvP.

This patch, my back slot makes it so I can’t see my weapon anymore when it’s sheathed on my back- prior to that, I could have both my bag and 2Her on my back.

This patch, broke that.

Disappointing, and can’t re-enable it with the new weapon sheathe mog changes.

Just worried that eventually the game will become borderline unplayable.

L’ura raid boss already broke upon release of this patch.

What happens, then? When they can’t fix the things that are broken?
