Evoker seems to be designed like R Sham to be played positioned offensively kinda like R Sham due to shorter range but lacks tools to do so. It is extremely vulnerable to CC and into Mages you literally cannot play Shroud. On the other hand it is already able to pump the highest hps in arena so Blizzard has to be careful if they want to buff it. Imo the best position to start is to move Aug and Devoker talent that lowers CD on kick to 24 sec to Evoker tree. If Prevoker would have such interrupt it would still be a complex and difficult healer but it would have some tools to deal better with CC.

i didn’t know r shaman had short heal range. Or are you talking about their other non-heal spells?
I’m talking about the fact that to play R Sham to it’s full potential you’re positioned more offensive to Interrupt, Lasso, Static, Hexes. Prevoker is forced to position similarly due to range and necessity of doing damage with Desintegrate to be more mana efficient.

I think its biggest problem is that it lacks in sustain healing. It has big burst healing but when your spells are on CD thats when things go downhill fast in arenas. If you get rooted, sheeped, or kicked things can spiral out of control. I think it needs a more reliable instant cast AOE healing ability that has a somewhat short cool down like 15ish seconds. Our empowered aoe healing abilities take to long to cast and also get kicked when you need em most. Since we are always somewhat near everyone it makes it easier to get cc’d or kicked. Or if they made Verdant Embrance a shorter cooldown like 15 seconds and gave it 2 charges that would make things soo much better
To be fair it doesn’t. My friend is one of the best Prevoker’s EU and Prevoker is cappable of the highest HPS among all healers. The reason why Outlaw/Boomy/Prev works the best is because Boomy tanks a lot of kicks for you and Clones a lot so you have more breathing room. With changes you typed high end Prevokers would have so much healing that nothing would die. They are able to pull almost 200 k HPS now with good decision making. Imagine what is going to happen with your changes.
Healing output matters alot… this is because most fights end in dampening where absorbs ,dmg reduction, and utility dont matter.
Yes, but I’ve seen high end Prevokers and if you’d give what Allmight described to them then Prevokers will be absolutely the best healers by far. Imo Prevoker is a healer with the highest skill cap. There are plenty of decision making and tricks and Prevoker is cappable of the highest HPS of all healers. The issue is that it’s getting controlled too much due to positioning.
Prevoker is considered one of the worst healers in the game right now. It has the lowest representation of all healers. Lets be real any healer with a high end player is going to be good but that’s just 1% of the player base. We need to stop designing the game for them. When the stars align yes it has the highest HPS like they do with outlaw,boomy team but outside of that like in Solo Shuffles its lacking compared to other healers. HPS really doesnt mean much. You can pump 150k hps all day long but the second you get caught in some sort of CC its all over somebody dies. This is what i mean by sustain. When you have Reversion and dream breath up and you get stuned or cycloned odds are your team will survive but if they are taking big damage and your emerald communion is on CD it is very difficult sometimes to cast spritbloom or dream breath without it getting kicked. It just sucks that prevoker only has few low quality instant healing spells. Like priest have 2 charges of radiance on like a 15 second cd, rapture which lets you instanstly cast bubbles for like 10 seconds. Those ablities are far more powerful then verdant embrace and reversion. Needless to say of course if they added an ability like im referring they would have to rework and tune abilities so it isnt overpowered.

but pres evoker is one of the higher rated healers?
It was 1 month ago. Last two weeks of the season it was considered the best. It worked well with Boomy and late season was all about Boomy/Havoc or Boomy/Outlaw
