might as well give them a healing/tank spec and just have the whole raid hunters, this clearly needs to be look at from a balance stand point, it’s not in the classic experience to have hunters doing double the melee damage of actual melee classes

If we were, warriors are garbage tier at PVP. They were the 2nd worst class in the Beef Bar PVP tourny this Thursday barely ahead of ele shaman.
Hunter pets could solo them.

Well, gee idk man. I haven’t really been keeping up with how others are doing in 1v1 tournaments; I’ve only been playing my own warrior and hunter comains and druid alt, so that’s all I really have to go by.
I personally think warriors are a lot of fun in all content right now.

What are you talking about. Hunters were 10x better than warrior in PvP in classic. Always have been.
Warriors literally require a healer behind them just to function (albeit exceptionally).
This take is so offbase, you must not have played, and just misunderstood how warriors functioned in Vanilla.

This is just false. Warriors were the top DPS in raid by a landslide, and they were also the strongest class in group PvP. Sure, they struggled in 1v1 situations, but a prepared warrior could easily win 1v1s against those unprepared.
I love how the argument when people talk about warriors being the strongest is “you must not have played classic.” Bro, there is a reason 60% of the population were warriors. Do you really need me to link you logs from classic to back up my statements?
