That when use your right to bear arms if you have a gun or grab a bar(by destroying the isle handing device) or whatever weapon. Keep low if they come close swing at the head. Grab criminals weapon stay low prepare yourself to fire at center mass.
At all times try to stay calm or somewhat.
Let’s say worse case scenario occurs. Like your family is with you just. Have them stay calm keep low head to rear exit or a room take other civilian with you. Then you have them lock the door. You go back to plan one.
Police show up put down weapon and lay flat on floor hands above head with hands displayed. So they don’t shoot you by mistake.
Just helpful tips if something does occur as you say.
Yeah, yeah. All I’m saying is that the “red is dead” tough guys don’t really have a leg to stand on when it comes to mocking the flight response of others, or otherwise claiming some kind of superiority.
Always. Orc. Zug zug. I have had an Orc shaman, Orc SL lock and Orc rogue on various private realms throughout the years and my old vanilla main was a Rank 10 undead rogue.
Because random pvp moments are fun, adds something different to the enviroment. Makes, for me anyway, the world feel truly like you are at war. Knowing any moment you can get attacked so you are always looking at your surrounding. Its exciting.
It adds a persistent feeling of tension and danger. You have to be on guard when you’re out doing stuff because at any moment, without any warning, you could be attacked! Then you’re locked in a battle to death!
That kind of excitement is impossible on a PvE server. Sure, I can see why people might not like it, so PvE servers are there if you just want a relaxing environment.
If you have an active guild it can be lots of fun. Yes, in an early server it can be fun. Once it matures, and bgs come out, then you are left with the gankers. you can gank them back.
However (Buuuuuuut) you don’t have the freedom to turn off pvp if you are just having a day where you don’t want to deal with it.
The answer is simple, on a pvp server you get to gank people, they get to gank you. IF you enjoy that more power to you go for a pvp server. If not role on a pve server.
Maybe not so much for pvp servers but for rppvp, they offer the most immersion into who your character is imo, you can be a villain, a hero, a soldier, a zealot and that in turn can impact how you interact with opposing faction members. I myself actually help ally players who need help because they accidentally pulled too many mobs just like how I toss out a heal or Rez to horde players that need help because that is how I invision my character as.
Every time i log on wow it’s for an adventure. No seriously, unless i tell some one a day prior that’ll help em tank this or do that, or i gotta guild raid. I just hop on and there’s no check list or anything, even leveling is like this for me. Wpvp is half the adventure if not more so.
Because there’s urgency and danger to the world. PvP creates situations that is a catalyst for social interaction. People team up to take over nesingwary’s camp, to defend flightpoints and other quest hubs, or guarentee safe travel otherwise. It makes the world far more organic and immersive.
Yes low levels will struggle against lvl 60 enemy rogues later on, or people will get slaughtered on boats/zepplins, or you’ll take half an hour to corpse crawl to UBRS or Dire Maul when world pvp is at its most intense. But in those struggles, you’ll make friends and memories on the way. It’s a part of the game you’ll never experience anywhere else!
Shouldn’t listen to those who say bad things about it, pvp server hate is pretty much the same as capitalism vs communism where if you call someone a communist they are automatically a bad guy even with no proof.
World pvp is about random encounters and being in a sense of danger to sharpen your skills, the only world pvp that stinks is organized and cross realm which can be found on normal realms where pve only types like to play to themselves.
Well PvP servers is how wow intended to be played, it is what wow creators envisioned they had to make Normal servers for the people that would complain and whine. People even whined about being forced to play on pvp realms when they had options like cross realm and normal servers to go to they could of made and leveled a character in not even a day in legions pre patch.
They never made a full or authentic pve server because you can flag yourself when people shouldn’t be able to do that.
Well wow creators didn’t have enough time to finish wow after making its structure that is why bgs weren’t out day 1.
Choosing to flag yourself is the worst quality wpvp, not real wpvp and organizing guild vs guild battle isn’t real wpvp. If something happened like you started killing this one guy and an entire guild comes after you then your guild comes after them then that is real wpvp.
That is why you play it it is a different animal, and never feels the same when you go to a fake PvE server do to it being so unauthentic you have 2 factions who can never attack each other unless they use their cheat codes to do /flag to flag themselves for pvp.
So yeah what you did wasn’t real world pvp on pve servers just two people pretending they are. Perma flag is where real wpvp happens because your not choosing your fights your getting them handed to you.
Woah… I’ve been playing this game nearly since launch. I never made a toon on a PvE server and just assumed you absolutely cannot PvP in the world… this is interesting and I appreciate you sharing. I feel kind of dumb now lmao…
That being said… sometimes I just want to aimed shot a gnome in the face. I don’t want anything holding me back from that urge…
In classic it happened all the time, but in retail it hardly happens because cross realm and sharding prevent it from happening and they removed world defense channel so people cannot see that cross roads or ashenvale is under assault.
Call for help and the old people would come no matter the level, sure there are probably those who wouldn’t who are focused on pve desires or cannot because of complications but people did come.
If it was proven in classic people don’t come often enough then it was probably done on an imbalanced server or not proven at all, because all I had to do is attack any town kill their npcs and have a bunch of players flying in at their dead flight master.
