there really wasn’t all too much content added this phase, so the timings right imo the phase timing for fresh look atrocious to me tho, so probably just a matter of perspective

It’s got nothing to do with what customers or player’s want.

It’s entirely centered around shareholders/business decisions and streamers input

the phasing was set to match corporate timetable because they are working on multiple variants of classic all at once and they are already behind because of phase 3.

Nah, behind because Classic Cata launch was a disaster that required a full extra week totally dedicated to fixing major issues.

If we are into new raid endgame content they will need to be faster for Classic+ or even change deisgn. For example i think the should release BLACKROCK MOUNTAIN as content wide. MC + BWL together.

I’m good with this pace if they have something beyond Naxx that’ll be new. Long BWL phases have always had big drop offs so getting through this is probably best for maintaining rosters.

They gave up on SoD in P3 and have neglected it ever since - aggressively not balancing (ie leaving shamans brokenly OP) etc.

Basically, they just want SoD to be over so they can stop the 1% effort they have left to put into it.
