Why oh why Blizzard can’t we please have a barber to change hair?

It has been something that has left me pondering since 2019 launch. So now that we’re implementing dual spec, which we all know was not available yet (i’m fine with this) but let’s not get into that… So I may ask the question again:

Can we PLEASE have a barber shop in SW/Org to change hair colour and style? This is probably the most QoL “change” they could make. Zero impact with gameplay.

Pretty please?

For the love of griminy, what an irrelevant complaint to have. Just enjoy the frickin’ fresh already.

I don’t know that we necessarily need a barber shop but it would be nice to have the extra hairstyles that came with Cataclysm, I think it was? Or maybe even a few new ones that are unique to Classic?

I am enjoying fresh though. But what if my player wants a hairdo at some point? Too much to ask??

If we had a barber i wouldn’t have to spend hours figuring out the look of my character…maybe then i could have gotten the name i wanted

I don’t want to say “if you give a mouse a cookie” because OP is obviously insane, but I’m going to say it anyways. Changes made to classic need to be extremely well thought out with balance considerations, and only add a net good to the gameplay of classic itself.

The only change Blizzard has made to classic that I feel was actually well thought out and brought positive change without impacting the spirit of classic was chronoboosting, and even then I understand the argument for why it was a bad idea.

The rest of these QoL changes are stupid and don’t belong. It’s like nintendo rereleasing Super Mario Bros and a bunch of redditors complain that there isn’t a world map to select stages from so Nintento adds a world map and everyone just pretends it’s the same game.

Stopped reading at “extremely well thought out and balanced”…

…… it’s literally getting a hair-do…

Brother you can’t be serious… try to tell me how this affects balance in any way, i’ll wait…

barber shop == ultra heroic mythic hardcore raiding == retail == not classic == bad

I sure would like Behsten and Slahtz

What??? Shaving your beard? Dying your hair?

Preposterous!!!

You forgot the “extremely well thought out” part. Yes it’s a hairdo. It’s a change for no reason to satisfy dumb people. Absolutely does not belong in the game. If you want a barber go play one of the game modes that has that.

Why doesn’t in belong in the game? I’m curious to see why it bothers you so much, oh almighty classic enthusiast.

Lay off the insults buddy it’s making you look a bit insecure.

It doesn’t belong in the game because it wasn’t in the game in 2006. That’s the whole point of classic right? To play an old game. I don’t want a barber in Super Mario Bros either, I just want to play Super Mario bros.

And you are dumb for wanting it. I don’t care if you take that as an insult. I’m just stating facts.

You’re already playing a changed game? This isn’t 2006 anymore, open your eyes

Yeah and virtually every change blizzard has made has annoyed me. This one is just especially pointless.

Time to take a step back from the computer if you’re that annoyed about a video game.

why can’t you just pick the hairdo you want at the start… :expressionless:

I suggest you do the same. If it annoys you that you don’t have a barber, then take a step back and stop playing. Better yet unsub and never play again.

says the guy who is annoyed he can’t play barbie’s dream house switching hair styles whenever he wants :expressionless:

Who said I was annoyed? I’m enjoying the game lol. You’re the one upset here big guy.

IKR? We can’t have too many characters switching to green hair, it would completely ruin raid make up. Green is hybrid, you don’t want too many of them.
