The problem of bot farms, especially groups of druids, has been plaguing the game for years now, and it’s only getting worse. We constantly see packs of druids exploiting fast spawn times, farming resources and mobs 24/7 without any visible consequences. This raises a few key questions:
- Why are druids the go-to for botting, and why hasn’t Blizzard done more to address this?
- Are fast respawn timers being exploited, and if so, why haven’t they been adjusted?
- How is Blizzard responding to the economic damage caused by bots flooding the market with resources?
- Why do bans seem so rare and ineffective at curbing the issue?
- Can Blizzard improve their bot detection systems, especially given modern advances in AI and machine learning?
- Is Blizzard even listening to the community’s frustration about botting, or is this issue being ignored?
It’s frustrating to see these bots continuing to thrive while legitimate players suffer. Will Blizzard finally step up and address this issue, or will the problem keep getting worse? The community needs answers and action.

all your questions have been answered before, but basically, the bans come in waves so that botters cant pinpoint there detection methods. Druids have strong aoe and are good gathers as well so can double duty. hyper spawns are constantly being nerfed when found.

The issue is actually not the bots, they are there providing gold selling services to the less scrupulous players.
Gamers are shady and have no concern for the wider ramifications their behavior causes, which is more bots in this case.
Gold selling is a massive business, I don’t think Blizz has the energy to keep up with them tbh.

Well, for the druid thing, they can harvest in travel form, no dismounting and remounting between nodes.
thay have one of the best gathering attack and they would need to rework moonkin to a nerf status.
quest kills with fast times are good but remove it when players are done with it
nothing will be done about it they would need to remove all items the put in the ah even players bags.
they do ban waves and the mod menus do get updated when it happens after they find the items that gets hit by the anti cheat
idk sometimes it might hit real players
yes they are the bots are like the hydra cut one head off 2 more take its place

Hey OP, Blizzard is just bad at detecting them, but when they seldom do ban them, you get juicy clips of them freaking out like this week.
Tell me about it, what was supposed to be an easy “kill 12 nokund” took me round about 20 minutes trying to avoid the multiple botters over there spam killing things with starfall. That’s why they chose druids though, they can spam starfall and kill everything in that area in no time flat. It’s so frustrating.
The bots aren’t working hard enough. The economy is still too expensive.
I find it funny the botters are self aware and make meme compilations of their bans and circumvention of such.
Bots and farmers have been a problem since day one, and still exist in droves. I think if the company really wanted them gone then they would have figured out how to solved the problem by now. The companies inability to solve this “problem” speaks volumes. All they need to do is track to WHO is buying the gold from the BOT farms, and punish those people as well.
Cheaters gonna cheat cheat cheat… if you let them.
solution:delete druids from the game.
