I’d rather have Legion classic to play the whole content cycle vs. Legend Remix.
I know we won’t get the mounts from Legend Classic but this was probably the best expansion of all time, and to have to rush through it seems sad.

They obviously chose Legion Remix because they wanted to remind everyone about storylines that will be important.
Legion is the introduction of Xal’atath. It has Il’gynoth’s whispers. It’s the return of Illidan, Turalyon, and Alleria. It’s the introduction of the Nightborne and the Void Elves. And it ends with the Sword of Sargeras and the return of the Titans.
It’s an easy way to remind everyone about what happened without adding extra exposition to the main game.

Realistically, we’re getting both.
Like WoD is an extremely good fit for Remix because it had content release problems and at it’s core Remix is a collectathon while the Classic expansions are being released in chronological order.

In WoD’s current state, there’s just…not enough there to keep players busy for a solid month. It is literally half an expansion. If they were to release all of the cut content, sure, I would love WoD Remix.

I don’t mind legion first since it’s story relevant to the current arc. I really do want to see a remix of all the expansions though. Maybe if they do wrath I can finally get those argent dawn shields
People like this expansion NOW cause the zones are cool and the questing is good.
If you played that expansion THEN you are most likely wondering why threads like this exist and questioning if you are going insane.
Don’t worry you are. And they will be asking for shadowlands remix in a few years too.

Personally, If I had to choose an expansion that new players HAD to do first…Legion would probably be it if its not just letting them start in classic zones like it should be.
BFA and SLs…too annoying. DF would be good, but something earlier in the game likely preferable.
Legion, as much as I disliked that weapon and pathfinder, was actually a reallly good, well rounded expansion, as far as casual play goes.
I don’t think there’s enough there there to do WoD Remix. Look at Collector’s Bounty, two mounts. There’s also fairly minimal cosmetic sets. There’s just not enough carrot for the stick.
Because WOD sucked through a sonic sized straw. The juice is not worth the squeeze. Like 20 people enjoyed that expansion but none of them would play remix because it wasn’t worth it. Burning Crusade 2.0 was an absolute failure and it needs to go down in the history books as the worst period expansion period ever. In the history of this game.
I think what you meant to say was “storylines that people care about”.
I would actually be okay with a SL Remix because it would likely be a significantly faster way to get all the Covenant cosmetics. Remixes, if they continue the way that Remop worked, are a great way to collect all the mogs from an expansion.
Karabor and Bladespire citadel capitals, Farhalon, Shatrath raid, there’s a whole patch and a half left on the cutting room floor.

WoD was the most disliked out of the xpacs. Bar none.

With the hyperspeed pace Classic seems to be going in, I think it’s probably good we’re not burning people on WoD just a year or whatever before we end up seeing WoD Classic.
I still think MoP Remix was a poor choice so close to MoP Classic.
These later Classic expansions kinda don’t need the extra help in losing players.
WoD lacked content. Remix is a sprint through the content that’s already released.
Most of WoD’s issues go away in that context.
It was also the beta versions of many systems we have today, like the follower systems, missions boards, and the like.
I am still worried theres gonna be time gating in Legion. There was plenty in WoD.
