Why Not Shadowreaper Anduin?

I fully expected Anduin to turn into his Hearthstone Death Knight counterpart, Shadowreaper Anduin.

But instead they decided to make him into Arthuin.

I hope he will still turn into Shadowreaper Anduin somehow. Maybe he will absorb Sylvanas like Arthas absorbed Nerzhul and gain her banshee powers of purple smoke and that will finish his transformation…

Hmm so Anduin goes all shadowy turns on both Sylvie and the jailor, nomm’s them and steals all their power! That would make him less boring.

probably because hearthstone isn’t canon at all, and generally is a bit sillier than the game is.

Also this form implies a shadow priest Anduin, which I don’t see happening.
