Why not put the guilded Bronto as a reward for a very long quest chain

Like 150-200 quest long chain.

That way you can get it from the shop but you can also get it in game from doing this massive chain as like a compromise between the haves and have nots.

You can get it in-game if you want. Think of it as a ‘quest’ where you have to get however much gold it costs to buy 6 tokens.

Why would they make a super long quest chain that will either be DOA with no-one doing it or will be popular and lose them money?

Can you imagine the catastrophic whining on the forums if people were “forced” to complete some long and arduous questline to get a utility mount?

Because I think that after the initial number of sales after launching the mount will be much higher than what they will sell from now until january 6th.

Why not do a 150-200 long quest chain?

Because that’s infinitely more work than just slapping a $90 price tag on it and calling it a day.

It’s part of a real life quest chain. One where you donate $90 (or a bit more if you unfortunate to be Canadian).

Well, they could make it a super simple quest. It could be something like how you have to fly through a certain number of sky motes or earn a certain amount of honor points. For example:

“Earn 1 gold.”

When you turn that one in you get another quest automatically:

“Now double that!”

And this repeats 199 times. Super simple. Have a goblin be the quest giver.

someone is paying $ for those tokens to be avaiable for you, either way the objective is simple

you will always pay a price, but its not always money, it can be your time…

Good news, you CAN get it without spending a dime!

Just buy some tokens for gold, it’ll cost around 1.6 million gold at the current exchange rate.

It’s like a quest chain thats 70k Quests long (assuming you get 23ish gold per quest). You got your wish.

Edit: cheaper than the other bruto.
