Why not include swim speed with the trading post fish mount?

Simple enough, Why doesn’t the Underlight Corrupted Behemoth have any increase in swim speed? Would make sense from a deep sea mount. It even uses the same model as the carp(RMT). at first look, tell me you didn’t see it soaring through the air and down into the depths.

I know anyone who farmed rares in forbidden reach is familiar with swapping from the dragon to the otter. apropos, there is no reason dragons can’t swim as fast as a carp lore wise, but regardless. As seamless as they’re trying to make WoW, why not make it a part of the mount buff as rewards for unlocking them.

If unicorns can dash their ways through the clouds* at +870%, I’d like to think a deep sea fish could handle +100% underwater.

Because it’s a flying mount, not aquatic

We already have 2 mounts (Otterworldly ottuk and the Wondrous Wavewhisker) which can do both, it’s not out of the question.

Came to say the same thing, seems silly that a fish mount can’t swim fast. Should be like the otter and the wavewhisker.

yea, I don’t get why this isn’t an aquatic mount. More tenders saved I guess /shrug

It certainly does seem silly that this mount doesn’t have the bonus to swim speed that the ottuk achievement mount has. They both can fly. Granted the ottuk is much harder to get. But the shop fish mount was easy enough to get.

The Otter still has the benefit of being able to use mount equipment as well. I’d be happy if the trading post fish had underwater swimming but no mount equipment.

Though the Underlight Corrupted Behemoth isn’t a Swimming mount, it should have underwater speed if they can’t use the water-walking equipment (like the Sky-Golem which still doesn’t have underwater speed to compensate for it).

It also won’t be eligible to use the dynamic flying in TWW from what I’ve read (could be wrong though) unlike the store mount fish which will be able to do all three (dynamic flying, ground, water). They also haven’t added dynamic flying to the otherworldly ottuk which is way more of an achievement to have earned than buying a fish off the store.

Either they overlooked it or intended to add that in TWW?
