I mean we still got that Chris Farley dance animation no player can use(besides boomkins) And if they ain’t gonna give us Ogres, then Hobgoblins is a smaller version of that. Way more interesting than another Dwarf race or those skinny out of place looking dragons.

If we can’t get ogres I can’t think of any reason why we would get this incredibly minor sub-race instead.

Outside of a druid form or toy. I wouldn’t mind if they reused it for a race. Especially the race it was most showcased on.

I agree, I mean the game has no half elves, no half orcs, no Ogres… but an endless supply of elf and dwarf races… Who are these people that come up with this lore? I just want a 40k MMO before I pass on, this fantasy stuff is so dependent on a good Dungeon Master and great friends to play with… otherwise, you just get memes and tropes… such as in wow.

I mean, ogres should be in the game and part of the Horde as playable race. It is lazy on Blizzard’s part to say they can’t come up with another model.

plus they’ve already given us so many lame recolors of other races. Hobgoblin would actually be a step up from that.

“Hob” is an old time nickname for the Devil, so would these “Hobgoblins” be bright red? With horns and a tail with an arrowhead tip? I think that would be a good change from the bilious green color they sport now.

Blizzard, Ogres + Necromancers in the same expansion would bring $$.

Humans can now use elf ears, we got the human/elf half elf thing going on now.
Also, they tried to make a 40k mmo and it failed
I thought I really wanted this and then i saw how deformed the ears looked. Not to mention the ears clip thru the hair.
To be fair, elf ears clip through everything. On my visage dracthyr they do this. My BE paladin, the ears and eyebrows clip through everything.
Horns do this as well. But I don’t think the arathi ears look deformed.
They barely exist as a race except to show up as goblin muscle. I don’t even know why Blizzard bothered making them.
Stop asking for half measures because you think you’re playing 5D chess with their cost/benefit algorithms. That’s dumb. Ask for what you actually want.
