Yea I remember. I hope he had fun in this game we played. It isnt all seriousness man. Good for him. Gear always nerfs content and he finds way to solo stuff. Reztroy is a fun guy and makes the puzzlesvof this game fun by finding quirky solutions. Not everyone would do half the stuff he does. I remember starting to hear about him when he did stuff like that. Good for him he surely enjoys this game to the fullest. Its not all boring chores.
It will be up during legion time walking. You get scaled to 50. Ilvl scaled down. No legendaries will be able to be used.
Some people are farming a timewalking set. I will see what I can do with just the world quest gear I have on all my characters. Still gotta lvl my warrior to get the leveling abilities or I just use the new warriors I lvled that I use now, but my undead warrior got all my previous warrior mage tower stuff.
How is anyone supposed to respect your preferred method of gameplay if you donât respect theirs?
Iâm fine with casuals getting mythic Ilvl gear, I donât really care. We have raiderIO and Warcraft logs to sort beyond Ilvl. Crafting, long interesting quest lines, grindy upgrade methods, world events etc to get that gear is good for the game IMO.
The problem is they would have to hire way more people which would raise the monthly sub cost of the game (Should currently be $22/month), or sell more in game shop stuff, or push out content slower. So either theyâll be labeled greedy or lazy for slow releases.
it could be his brian damage. its bad to have a damaged brian.
If only Brian had a brain.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to nitpick that typo. Didnt take long.
âDid we really need another one of these?â
Yes! Until Blizzard stops killing its own game by driving casuals away, they need to hear the message again and again until they can no longer ignore it. The 3000th time may be the charm.
If the whole point of 9.2 for casual players is going to be the Zereth Mortis research tree, people arenât going to be bringing their alts there to do it on each toon, and sub numbers are going to drop more rapidly than normal after a month. (At least 9.1 attempted to bribe us with Korthia gear.)
No need to wait for 10.0. WoW needs to be fixed ASAP in 9.2 or we can truly know that the devs have learned nothing from this failure of an expac.
Please.
My ideas arenât that bad.
Ok, talking about world gear. Titan forge was a side subject.
That is what the foundation of the game is about. It has been this way for over 15 years. Sadly unless someone is able to pump out a very large patch every 5 weeks(opps). It going to stay this way. If you want a game without raids there are a few. But they are not doing too well.
You know someone could take offence to that.
people really play an mmorpg and hate gearing huh rofl
If its not done right yeah
but wod was done right. shadowlands gearing for pvp is awful.
also i noticed youâre the OP of the post so youâre an obvious troll I wonât be engaging with whatsoever. the guy who says wod pvp gearing was bad however could have some valid points. you, however, are just lazy and garbage.
If you think this post is bad you should see the other ideas and posts. lol
lowkey iâm only here because an old guildy sent me the post of someone claiming wod gearing was bad, which it wasnt, and asked me to engage rofl. gd is just a cesspool of very opinionated casuals who have it out to anyone that actually plays the game.
gearing isnât even a thing reserved for âthe eliteâ either and still they manage to find a way to complain about them not getting anything for putting in 0 effort.
you, however, are just lazy and garbage.
Uh yeah, great whatever.
If you think this post is bad you should see the other ideas and posts. lol
Seems rather genuine considering the large response.
At the end of the day, RPGs are about gear, and becoming more powerful. But we as players should be the ones that get to choose how to get that gear. It also becomes a barrier to entry when gear is restricted in certain ways.
The issue here is the relation between time spent, difficulty, and ilvl. Currently, mythic raiding and high end mythic dungeon runs are the most difficult. They reward the best gear. These also, relatively, take the shortest amount of time (ignoring planning for a moment). These dungeons can be run through quickly if done correctly, and thus reward a high ilvl for being fast and skilled, which encompasses the high end of players. However, there has to be something for the low end of players.
I have no issue in a 5 month patch, if mythic raiding and dungeons provide the quickest way to get a full set. But casuals should also be able to obtain that same ilvl. However, it should take longer to do (thus keeping the equation between difficulty, time and effort equal). If hardcore players can hypothetically get 270 gear in 1 month, solo players should be able to get it in 3months (assuming a 5 month patch). But casual players do need to be able to get the same power level.
Due to ilvl being the most important factor in the game right now, if you donât make things equal, its impossible for casuals to become hardcore players, and impossible for hardcore players to take a step back if they are getting burnt out wothout losing their spot. There are significant barriers to entry in getting into ranked pvp, higher dungeon runs, or heroic raiding. In many cases, groups absolutely filter by ilvl, and even if someone maybe has the correct ilvl for that content, groups will pass them up for someone who outgears them significantly .
The ilvl barrier makes it impossible to be able to branch into different parts of the game, and thus casual players stay casual. However, its not always due to not wanting to part in the effort but because the content that provides it either doesnt provide meaningful enough rewards, or isnt engaging enough to draw players in. I think if solo players did have the ability to get the same ilvl as mythic raiding, but taking longer to do it relative to higher end players, you would see more alts, and more players engaging in content they otherwise wouldnât have the ilvl to get into. And having more players branch into different content benefits the game as a whole
Bingo.
It wasnât my lack of ability that held me back at my peak, it was having the ilvl to get in.

Also your ability to start your own group, right?
