Why not give Casuals high lvl gear?

Check on the server forums if you want a guild. Plenty of good guilds out there.

As I said earlier it’s just really difficult to pinpoint a guild that can accommodate my needs, and I’ve been in and out of so many of them throughout the years of playing WoW. Some just didn’t fit me, some just fell apart on their own. It’s been really difficult.

The emphasis on mental health with Crea’s guild was what made me interested, and I honestly haven’t seen anything similar throughout my time searching. Yes I am an anxious, depressed mess with suicidal thoughts and extreme confidence issues, and all I ever wanted was a community that understood and supported me in this game, so I could run content without fear.

Or just let solo play be a viable option again, like it was in BfA. That way I can stay out of everybody’s way and just have fun on my own. I think most people would just be happier with that, if they didn’t have someone like me tainting their guilds.

If you’re rewarding time investment, why shouldn’t it benefit everyone? As is commonly stated, what does it matter if the mythic crowd outgears the “casuals?”

Finding a good guild can be tough. And I just find guild drama annoying to deal with. And loot distribution shenanigans. Raiding is fun sometimes though with a decent guild.

As for the mental health stuff that shouldn’t be managed in a guild! The game can help you work through some social anxieties if you really want to participate in group content. I advocate for solo gameplay because that’s what I enjoy in the game and I want to see more of it. I like the group content stuff occasionally but I am not willing to raid like I used to. I still the game because I enjoy other parts of it and I just wish they didn’t soley focus all the power progression on group content.

Depression sucks, suicidal thoughts also means it would be wise to seek professional help. As sometimes a common antidepressant will go a long way to improve the chemical imbalances in our brain that many are predisposed to. As for social anxieties that can be worked through exposure therapy (doing content socially). I advice don’t take too many online interactions to heart. Many different people play this game and not everyone knows how to deal with people well, whether they are rude, socially awkward or intentionally being a jerk.

As for finding a good guild, sometimes social media sites have guilds if you want a more casual social guild. I am sure there are sites that promote guilds. And whatever content you intend to do can also affect the guilds you are searching for.

Wasn’t that you?

Sure wasn’t. Because anyone who would try to diagnose someone over forum posts is an armchair psychologist. Which is what I called that person. It was some warlock.

Someone was trying to diagnose me earlier

That sounds like someone trying to warp someone elses view.

Yeah I found it.

Huh? Do you think I have some sort of psychic power to warp minds or something?

If you unironically write, “you guys got what you wanted” over something you never had and nobody ever tried taking from you, that’s victimizing yourself.

I’m sure if I wrote, “people in questing greens want to take my epics because they hate me”, and someone told me to stop victimizing myself, you’d have no problem understanding the definition.

But, yeah. You’re not a victim for playing WoW.

This seems like a lot of twist just to attack someone’s character or playing ability as the root cause of the issue at play here.

Why should gear be valued anymore if the Mythic raiders are just as happy to sell it off to the highest bidder anyway through carry runs?

That’s the main crux of the topic here at play.

I don’t care about their character or playing ability. I care that people are so entrenched in this that they literally think other people commenting on forums are withholding the game from them. They are probably a fine enough person; that doesn’t mean what they’re doing isn’t total nonsense.

No twisting involved. All you need to do is read and think.

This is an oxymoron. If the gear did not have value, Mythic raiders wouldn’t be able to sell it off. There isn’t much to discuss because your premise is flawed from the first sentence. The gear is clearly valuable, so let’s start there.

Sounds like you just don’t want to address the issue.

I not only addressed it, I also destroyed your point immediately.

Looks like you don’t actually have another point. Guess I win.

You just danced around it by disseminating points that aren’t relevant to the original post.

Plus I meant this sarcastically. That you took seriously is…strange…

Though to be fair meaning can be confused on ze internet so I can’t begrudge you for that.

Why not earn high lvl gear?

Cause you can just pay $ more and buy it.

Kinda like bribing a GM to change the outcome of a dice roll (heard about it once in a D&D horror story)

you seem to feel entitled to tell everyone else how to play. If the devs want to tell us what the “primary” part of the game is, they will tell us. they dont need some elitist wanna be to help them.

Why are people such asshats to each other about it when it happens then?

I havent told anyone to play. I explained how t he game works and is designed.

They literally have already said it.

While mistakes happen there are somethings that this far into the tier/season should be known by now.
