Why not add custom idle animations to the Cash Shop/Trade Post?

I’m so tired of using the old animations. Especially being that vulpera animations are just recycled goblin animations. It got me thinking, I would 100% pay money to have a custom animation cycle, I dunno, maybe occasionally reading a scroll while standing still (Tie them into professions, baby!)?

Runescape has them, even with their professions (Skills) where you can buy custom-looking animations for the actions. It’s harmless money that has no effect on other players.

I know people aren’t gonna like this idea because it is just more stuff added to the cash shop, but at this point, I think we have to accept that nothing is gonna be added that doesn’t bring immediate profits. Animation cycles would do this and could probably be done in a week. Hell, if blizzard was feeling generous, they could make them a part of the trade house.

I’m so tired of the same old “Look around twice, Sadistic bug stomp” we currently use.

ESO does this. I’m fine with it.

As long as we don’t make our own, I know WAAAAY too many people would make their ‘spell casting’ a pelvic-thrust.

Careful there, wouldn’t want blizzard discovering the secret to infinite money.

Would be hell…

You don’t use idle animations. It’s impossible to be ‘tired’ of seeing your afk animations unless you’re going afk just to stare at them…which is weird. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

You use idle animations every time you aren’t actively moving. As soon as you are standing still, you are using idle animations.

So you’re tired of standing still and staring at the screen. Got it. :slightly_smiling_face:

My casting spell is now Michael Jackson’s dancing…

Or better yet, just add them to the options menu. What a stupid thing to have to spend any kind of extra currency on.

Nothing happens if it doesn’t bring in some kind of profit. We’ve been running the same animations for what… 18 years?
