It just doesnt make sense to remove such an important utility to the game, for players like me who are returning after a long period away, having no low-stakes practice option is kind of ruining the experience. Are there any plans to re-implement this feature?

Wargames. Less convenient but equally useful. Hit up trade chat for whichever format but 5v5 for 1v1 gauntlet was always a popular option. No stakes fun. Yes, being able to just log in & solo que was better. Both should exist imo, but this happened the same way in original Cata.
i appreciate your response, and will check it out, but it doesnt really make me feel like we need skirmishes any less if you know what i mean

I’ve been saying this for a while. I actually thought it was a bug, and chose a very, very bad time to try to learn a new class, expecting to just be able to queue skirmishes for the whole pre-season…
