There was no mention of any continuation of the Saurfang quest line in 8.1.5 at all, either in the video on YouTube, or the announce page.
Why isn’t this being continued?

Finally some good news!
How is being unable to continue the Saurfang quest line “good news”?
Blizz is probably rewritting the story because almost everyone joined Sylvanas instead Traitorfang. The players’ desire to not have a repeat of MoP caught blizz completely off guard.
Speak for yourself. I went with Saurfang (on my main and I will on this one too) and wanted to see the outcome of the choices.
Unless it’s finally us killing that traitor and putting his head on a pike I don’t want to see anything else about him
Because as a Horde player, I am not a fan of pushing a quest line of a traitor who’s goal is to help the Alliance?
Then you obviously didn’t play previous expansions. You don’t know the back story of Sylvanas. Sylvanas is the one who is betraying the honor of the Horde. And not everyone shares your opinion.
How does me hating him auto mean I haven’t played any other expac? For one I’ve played all expacs and 2 this is the horde, a bunch of savages that murder and destroy not hello kitty island adventures that thrall wanted. The true horde cares little for your honor
It’s from an Alliance perspective and from a poster I usually find to be extremely exasperating, but it’s well written with many decent points that even Horde players can relate to.
Just because Sylvanas may be wrong, doesn’t mean Sourfang is right.
I really don’t care if you guys like Saurfang or not. I want to know if we’re going to get to continue this quest line. Otherwise I have no interest in this discussion. They already have gone down the path of making Garrosh/Siege 2.0 with Sylvanas. You’ll have to blame Blizzard for that.
Because the quest line is done I would guess. We helped him (or didn’t) escape, we can’t help him with what he is doing now. We have to wait till he is done what he is doing (we all know it’s going to try and get Thrall to come back) and at that point a new story line starts.
I bet the continuation of the Sourfang questline is Alliance based! Since he is working for them, it would make sense.
For them and With them, are two different things.
And anyone against what Thrall built and it’s ideals- does not belong in the horde.
Shows what little you know Akston. Baine, Rexxar, and others are peeved at Sylvanas. He would likely rally other within the Horde to his side to attempt a coup or something of that nature. It’s SOO again.
Baine also works for the Alliance, though.
With the Alliance.
Working to restore the Horde to it’s honor with Sylvanas deposed does not mean he is working for the Alliance. Sylvanas has become worse than Garrosh, and the new Lich Queen. Even the Lich King and Bwonsamdi say she is an upset to the balance. They also said at Blizzcon 2013 we would eventually deal with Sylvanas, so now it looks like this is finally that time. You apparently don’t follow lore, and you’re not worth talking to since you have a very narrow minded view.
With the Alliance.
Nah. its definitely “for”.
Sourfang didn’t start his “rebellion” until Anduin told him to. That is working for.
Baine is a penpal of Anduin, and constantly works within the Horde to give up ground to the Alliance, and never fight back. Obviously under orders to work for the Alliance from within the Horde.
Baine isn’t smart enough to do things on his own. He needs direction. Definitely “for”.
