Why no horseshoes?

We got, what, four races with hooves? Why not some neat horseshoe type shoes? Like a metal rim around the base of the hooves, maybe with some fancy bits.

Horseshoes clop. We don’t need that with hunters and rogues.

Don’t the hooved races just use the euphemism “boots” when talking about them, just to fit in amongst us fleshy-footed folk?

There are a few boots that do show up on hooves, I think mainly dropping from the Odyn dungeon and raid from legion

You don’t shoe a cloven hoof. The two toes of the hoof move independently and must be free to do so for balance.

We call them Shooves.

Two shoes per hoof. The WoW devs are smart, they can figure something out.

You mustn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.

Cloven animals don’t walk on two legs either so come on dude. Let’s leave high school biology out of this.

Why does that horse look anorexic?

Bipedalism would only increase the importance of proper balance, wouldn’t it?

I ride a flying dead horse.

And that has nothing to do with balance, I’m saying are we really going to argue balance for a tauren/Draenei when this games has flying dead horses, talking dragons and fox people?

/moo :cow:

We can talk about all the anotomical problems a winged horse would have, there’s alot. But I’m pretty sure that there isn’t a single flying mount in the game that has a wing surface area to body mass ratio that would allow for flight so we can skip it and I’ll just admit that I see your point.
