Seems like a no-brainer to me. I bet lots of people want to be a caster that burns their foes in the fire of the Light. Priest have ranged holy DPS spells but their two non-shadow specs are both primarily healing.
Why not give priests a fourth Holy DPS spec? Most of the groundwork is there. It just a matter of taking the existing holy DPS spells and empowering them somehow (Lightform? Sounds kinda dumb but, I dunno) and adding in some other DPS abilities and talents.
I know I’d play Light DPS priest. It sounds fun, and I’d be able to see my mogging better.
Two things I’ve wanted for a time now are a Shadow Paladin spec and a Holy DPS Priest spec. I could settle for glyphs or something similar to Warlock’s green fire option though.
I feel it’s like shadow is void, but void is not shadow. Or something. From the legion shadow priest stuff, it really seems shadow is just diet void, before old gods and that stuff.
Holy priest could just have a DPS branch on the talent tree. Go down one branch and get healing points, go down another branch and get dps points at the cost of healing. At the bottom there is one big talent that boosts dps by 30% and reduces healing by 30%.
Youre not fully right or wrong there.
Void is a sub part of shadow. Weve never been told of a different sub part, but if void was all of shadow then i dont see why it would be a different sub category.
