would you guys want it?

I seriously think that it looks incredibly stupid, but I also grew up using guns. So put me in the I do not want group.

Looking back at how tiny some of the supposed “two handed” guns are, you might as well just use them as a set of pistols. No one would notice. Heck, it would even be cosmetic (just like mogging from gun to xbow to bow is) and the computations of combat wouldn’t change in the slightest.

It would however be expensive for Blizz-- have to pay some artists to craft the new model poses and animations while reusing old assets (the tiny guns in our freakishly large hands).

Hunters use spears, rifles, bows and crossbows to hunt with. Dual pistols is more of a gunslinger thing. Closest class to that fantasy idea would be the outlaw rogue, but they’re melee and should stay that way.

If they ever gave survival a ranged build, dual pistols could be an option for it.

well its not meant to be realistic, i think attacking giant monsters with a sword is silly but this is the magical world of warcraft.

i thought of it as more of an aesthetic addon more than dual wield mechanics though, it doesnt have to be dual pistols .
hunters tend to just be bows and guns

i actually think slingshots would fit survival hunters quite well, maybe supplemented with a variety of ammo like usopp from one piece lol

maybe javalins would be cool too

That’s fine, I just hate the look. If I wanted to mention realism, I’d talk about the New York Reload when using more than one pistol.

They should have a rogue pistol option and SV hunter option. pistol for hunters should require one half the range or less than current two handers. It could be duel if not SV and if SV could be single.

Dual pistol has an issue, where it comes to the spec’s balance.

It’s why specs have limitations in how they equip weapons, and why you’ll not see 2H Frost/Rogue, or DW Blood/Ret.

Because it’s Blizzard and they’d find a way to make it awful. We thought dual pets for BM was going to be a fun idea and that turned out to work like crap…

Because we’re hunters and not cowboys

Anyone who would “hunt” with two pistols is silly.

A swashbuckling rogue with a pistol in one hand and cutlass on the other would have been neat though. I would have liked that for outlaw rather than be yet another DW spec.

I am quite familiar with this carry option and employ it to this day. I carry my service weapon, a G17 along with a small 38spl revolved carried appendix carry.

That said, that ol’ man perfected the New York reload.
