For classes without the best mobility… this is a life saver. Literally.
It got me out of so many situations.
And its customisable.
Why would I want a stinky owl butler over this?

Bastion is a overly bright, unsaturated hellscape. It’s like living on the surface of the sun.

Yeah, i went for this too even though the dps thing isn’t really the best, i hate Maw with it, i can’t imagine how much worse it would be without it.
I liked the zone a lot.
It was very pretty.
Didnt find it that bright at all… but then again my monitor does have a built in blue light filter

That’s one reason I really like Bastion. It’s warm and sunny! The others are pretty dark. Not that it’s a bad thing, Ardenweald’s beautiful, but I like that Bastion is at least one brighter place.

That ability works in the maw… This may have tipped the scales towards night fae for me on my pally. I’ve been at an impasse for a couple days now. The kyrian class ability was my by far my favorite, but I really hate everything about the bastion. Ardenweald was the only tolerable zone for me, but the class ability kinda sucked.
But soul shape in the maw might finally win out, maybe.

Yeah loving Night Fae on my mage. Lot’s of blinks and permanent form in rest areas. Probably will go Bastion on my Druid since the soulshape is kind of pointless.
Being in bastion feels like living in a grossly overexposed photo of death valley. I’ve never liked the overuse of unsaturation in art like bastion and BoTW. It looks horrible to me.

It is awesome. It was really more of a bonus for me. I picked Night Fae solely based on their incredible colour scheme.

When I get it I won’t be using it as I hate it.

Depends on class. I assume you aren’t playing Druid?
Druid and Shaman can use travel form and Ghost Wolf respectively which makes things a bit nicer.
All of the covenants work in the Maw. You don’t have infinite duration in the Maw though like you do in rest areas, just the standard 10s or what ever it is with the dashes.

I’m expecting a nerf to SS at some point. I can see it being used to cheese some encounters and Blizzard won’t like that.
