Long ago when I played, I recall doing quests for Shaw and on good terms with him iirc. Anyway, doing legion questline where my rogue is sent with Garosh to Stormwind, and Stormwind is all hostile like Duskwood. What I miss? I been reading most of the quest text but this aint making sense. like Shaw says something negative about me and Garosh and I’m like, why he no like me now ? lol. Confusing coming back after a long time and different phases, timelines etc.
Wasn’t part of the rogue’s campaign that a dread lord or something replaced Shaw and the rogue character had to go kill the fake Shaw. The fake Shaw put out a hit on the rogue character since he didn’t want to be killed and knew they knew he was a fake.
Garrosh died in WoD, so you aren’t doing anything with him in Legion. Granted, I’m unfamiliar with the rogue storyline in Legion, but I’m 99.9% sure you’re thinking of someone else.
You know I never understood why Detheroc didn’t just kill Shaw and assume his form. After all Balnazzar killed Saidan Dathrohan and wore his corpse as he corrupted the Scarlet Crusade.
Chronicle Volume 3 explains that it was a tactic to break the inhabitants so that they could be remade into his servants. Many of Stormwind’s fearful citizens sought counsel from Archbishop Benedictus, unaware that he was secretly a member of the Twilight’s Hammer, and he subtly guided them into the cult’s embrace.
