Not to mention, LGBT people don’t need straight people (or LGBT people that are still trying to appease the phobes) “approve.” We’re taking our piece of the pie. We’re not taking yours.

What is a difference between any person that dresses the way they want? I have gay friends that dress more conservative than me and have heteros friends that dress more over exaggerated than me…
This does not invalidate them in the slightest and everyone knows that. Imagine being so insecure about your self confidence that a homeless woman who wrote books to get rich saying “Women menstruate” somehow invalidates your existing. You are having to presume and attribute too much to make this point which is why it isn’t a good one.
Because who says? You, and a Twitter lynch mob? Like I said above and I do not understand this. Why does what ONE PERSON says suddenly make you feel invalidated? You should be confident enough and know yourself enough that one person’s words don’t invalidate you or reduce you in any capacity.

The idea that trans people in stories are just offlimits from having awful encounters like that (where it didn’t even happen and was threatened iirc, Silkworm I believe yeah?) is just absurd. If it was a guy alternatively you wouldn’t care either. At best you’d say “the scene was in bad taste.” But oh, the subject is a certain class, so it must be bigotry!
I would defend people too, you shouldn’t be deplatformed for having an unpopular opinion. Unless you actively are engaging in straight up violence or outright encouraging it, I don’t care. Speak your mind. You don’t see me screeching at the night elf priest who asserted that I’m not really trans and it’s a LARP because I disagreed with them. It was rude and childish but I wouldn’t call them transphobic, just sad.
Every tweet I’ve ever seen hasn’t been transphobic explicitly, it took mental gymnastics to reach that conclusion and at worst was kind of insensitive.
A lot are though. There’s been quite a few cases of trans women prisoners going to women’s facilities and raping inmates. Hell, I’d argue the whole ongoing crusade against “DEM TERFS!” is a clear example of this, or even just the whole nonsense of “I’m MtF, you’re a lesbian but won’t date me, you’re transphobic.” is a bigger problem. Or maybe it’s me trying to tidy up issues with people I am invariably tied with and I hate being attached to that kind of lunacy.
Hey uh, I hate to tell you this but take a look at Orgrimmar’s banks and auction houses some time. Also really, what’s your main claim to the goblin bankers being Jewish, because they have big noses? That says more about you than it does anybody else.

That was always written in a way that at least to me came off as “Hey, he’s a very bad guy because he’s on the evil side.” So obviously they’d target children since that’s just a trope of villains in a lot of fantasy is they have no qualms harming children.

Again, you have to go out of your way to find any of these things offensive. Also amusing how literally none of what you listed EXCEPT the potential of goblin bankers (which was a claim levied against Tolkien as well might I add about the dwarves in LOTR) which really is so innocuous you kind of have to be looking to be offended there or find it offensive.
It was only after the world decided they had an issue with her because of trying to hold 20 year old books and their contents to the unrealistic moral standards of today that people suddenly found everything offensive.
I shouldn’t have to express how phenomenally stupid it is to try and hold old forms of art to your modern standards, find it wanting and then shred it to pieces but I just did above. This is just a case that wokeness is moronic. People spent so much time trying to fight bigotry that they can find it in everything. With a lot of the assertions they make coming off as bigoted themselves because why is it when you see something with a big nose you see Jew? Why is it when you see a disease being spread you think AIDS?

for me , this kind of thing is really weird - quests that shows any kind of relatioship is weird, straight or not.
It’s the super woke Left. You have an identity and to them your identity should dictate all of your personality and opinions and put you into a neat little basket. If you so much as step out of line they instead just attack you in hostile ways. Ironically I’ve seen more transphobic remarks or hostility from people on the Left utterly pissed off that I think differently than any conservative in my life.
This is the whole “You ain’t black” thing. Hell I bet if I were black she’d be busting out the N-word preceded by the word “house” so many times rappers from the 90s would blush.
One hand they argue “Not all people of a group think alike!” then the second you step out of line they’re outraged you don’t think precisely as they think you should.
