What does small government have to do with LGBTQIA+ rights though?
Two conservative supreme court judges remarked negatively on gay marriage just the other day.
And? Not my problem to be honest.
I’m not so sure. If the mental health of LGBT adolescents is still a pressing issue in terms of suicidality, bullying, and therapy, and I’d posit it is, then there is still homophobia and transphobia to be addressed.
I will agree on the fact that the over-sexualization of pride is exclusive of LGBT adolescents, though, and fortunately based on what I’ve seen that appears to be the growing attitude.

This is about as honest as if I were to say Liberalism or Progressivism is a blight because you have a few radicals who associate with that political ideology trying to silence your free speech just because someone might be offended by what you said. Advocates for you to have no means of armed protection. Feels the will of the country should be dictated based on sheer mob rule because California and New York should speak for the other 48 states and dictate their policy. Feels you should pay an increase in your taxes to justify their pet projects and near zealot worship of the government as a God and as such feel it is the ultimate caretaker and should provide you everything. . .

I’m a mildly annoyed LGBTQIA+ person in yet another thread full of casual homophobia that has been allowed to go on for days.

It’s funny you say “take your own advice” to me but you were the one saying you moved on and yet you continue to respond to me.
Honestly, these threads are usually fun because we tend to drive off the homophobes after a while because they end up just not liking that we refuse to apologize for being LGBTQIA+
Then we make the thread into group therapy, or talk about ships and all that jazz.
Too bad my good buddy Rose was banned. He’ll be back in a little bit and then we can all just have a fun party! no Straights™ allowed!

Why do a large majority of LGBT folks assume everyone who 100% doesnt agree with you is a homophobe?
I can not agree/dislike something but still respect it and be professional. Called being an adult.
