This is more about bullying people into accepting that narrative than it is about representation. They are legitimately unaware of when they have become empowered and are trying to be oppressive themselves after living a life of beating themselves down over their victimhood.

They just throw stuff in and don’t even blink or pause. No fanfare, just straight up results.
It suprises me just how nonchalant it is and It really feels weird that I shou;d be used to it by now but I’ve gotten so used to the Disney level “HEY EVERYONE, WE’RE GONNA DO OUR FIRST* LGBT REPRESENTATION EVER” and then it’s just some dudes staring longingly into each others eyes in the last 5 minutes of the film or some stuff standing off screen slightly who can be edited out in a later release.
*It’s always the First no matter how many times they do it and it’s equally underwhelming each time

I am, each person speaks for their self regardless of orientation unless there is leader of that party or group and people follows them. This troll is not is just making us look bad and is sad.

Both camps of this argument ruined this topic on these forums. The trolls making posts like this who wanted to make people angry, and anyone making a legitimate case, asking for sympathy. So, while I agree that more representation is a good thing, as long as its tasteful and intelligent. I still think it’s a terrible time and place to bring this up.

Just report his harassment in comments and move on, this person is clearly delusional and hasn’t left basement since early 16s. No need to argue with someone like that.
These people have only the view that you must dismantle the “straight heteronormative power structure” and that doesn’t end with equal rights. It’s basically a twisted view that society doesn’t represent them equitably and must be dismantled and rebuilt to do so.
Yeah I acknowledge it’s kind of a lose-lose scenario, but I’m done playing nice with people who literally hate me for being attracted to my own gender.

yes I am much better, I have good job, bachelor’s degree and I don’t force my orientation on anyone in any area and clearly not on game forums.

Hate is a form of obsession after all.
It’s not even a bad time to bring it up. Talonel has just conducted himself in a way that’s not good for actually inciting change but rather putting everybody who doesn’t 100% agree with everything he says on the defensive.
At least these threads are entertaining to watch both sides scream at each other over the internet, if nothing else.

Honestly sorry you have to put up with being discriminated against from so many angles. This guy doesn’t care that he is trying to take away the voice of an LGBT person just because they don’t agree with him.
I apologize for any jokes I have made in this thread that might offend genuine and decent LGBT people. I do so for the sake of making these extremists/trolls expose themselves.
