Why level pets?

I just leave most of them as I get them, be they lvl 1 or lvl 23. I don’t understand why you would want to level a pet unless you’re going to use them to battle.

You are, of course, correct that you don’t need to level any pet unless you are going to use it in batte - or stone it to Blue quality either.

There is, however, a degree of satisfcation in making your collection the best that it can be.

Ah, okay. I saw in the capture team thread that people had leveling teams and I started to worry I was missing something.

It is just fun to do for some of us, or a time killer too. There is nothing like having a stable full of rare (blue) lvl 25’s, especially when you have three of some of the pets that are good in battle.

I see what you mean. It’s another aspect of pet collecting. Something else for me to do with my collection

You never know when you may need to use them for battle. Best to be prepared.

Grats Moused!

Because it’s satisfying to have one of every pet at level 25 and rare quality. /shrug

Thank you Adahlin…

Most of the secrets require pet battling, and there are rep quests from pet battles.

If you aren’t into all of that, but want the rewards there are battle strategies that give you a walkthrough with a perfect team.

I level pets to get charms which get me more pets I can buy. Winning the world quest pet battles get charms and stones to level. Then there are the various dungeons and other things to get pets.

other than for battle, there is a achievement for leveling one of each pet family to 25
