Why level 45?

I don’t understand why i have to be a level 45 to get a flying mount at the Trading Post or from Kiera Torres when I can use it at level 30.

I was not aware this was a thing. So below 45 it just doesn’t let you buy the mount? That seems very strange considering it would act as a ground mount until you get flying anyway.

I know. I have 316 hearts and have to make 15 levels before the end of the Love is in the Air.

Same reason you need to be 60 to get the love rocket to drop.

(There isn’t a reason.)

Blizzard sounds like my mom when I ask why. “Becasue I said so.”

There is, you just won’t like it (if you have to get every alt to 60, that’s a LOT of time investment, this is purely a KPI decision).

Ding ding ding!

Whenever a question is ever along the lines of “Why does Blizzard do (insert thing that involves timegating/timesinks/timespent/etc.)?” the answer is always MAU, KPI, and the other associated metrics. Always. You’re not just a subscription/wallet, you’re part of the numbers on shareholder reports.

2 different departments made decisions on how rewards were distributed and at what level skills became usable

Lets call them “right hand” and “left hand”.

Right hand didn’t know what left hand was doing.
