As the title states and ive said this in a few threads as well. Instead of asking for a fresh server why not start up a new char on deviate delight? both horde and alliance are doing a “fresh experience” i play alliance side and we got a ton of people at all levels so why not come and play with us on deviate delight?

Because its truly not fresh. There was transfers allowed for a while and sleeper bot accounts and main accounts from the past.
Deviate economy at first doesnt look bad but look deeper.

But you can’t transfer there? I’ve tried….but I agree with OP, I play alliance and it’s been alot of fun. Horde have a few more players from the looks of it, but it definitely is a fun little community.

If you’re wanting fresh, DD is better than nothing. It’s maybe not exactly what you were hoping for but hey, in life we seldom get exactly what we want. Give it a go, you may not get another chance. And if you do… well, just reroll and carry on. It’s not like you weren’t planning to reroll if an actual fresh was launched.
I mean, what else are you gonna do with your time?
Even if DD dies out in two months the leveling journey will still be a ride, and a vastly different experience than you’d get on Mankrik or Whitemane. Just have some fun.

This is fair. I wonder though… these guys are having pretty good success with getting people motivated. I wonder if you might find some dead PvE server and accomplish the same thing. Tough to say, but it could be worth some nosing about to see if there’s interest.
I feel you though, I don’t like PvP either. That’s just not a leveling journey that interests me.

for some reason it wouldnt let me respond to him, i get it not wanting a pvp server because of ganking but the pop is low and in my experience ive barely seen any horde

The main reason they chose PvPRP servers is because RP servers aren’t clustered with other servers. Deivate Delight and Zandalar tribe aren’t in clusters like other Era servers that require old technology to feel “Alive”
The people you see on the server is everyone on that server.

It’s a case of “been there done that” for me. Maybe because I’m older idk, I no longer have the patience for all that jazz.

Yea, it looks like Bloodsail Buccaneers. Wasn’t that where HC originally found its footing?
I saw a thread posted earlier about folks on that server so maybe there can be a fresh movement for the PvE enjoyers as well.
With that said, if I’m correct and that is the original HC server, it might be tougher to realize there than Deviate Delight. If things get popular, maybe the 5 people who still have characters on DD might come back and mess with the economy a bit, but if BB gains ground I’d imagine there’s a lot more folks with latent HC characters there who might come back.
Still, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. The fresh experience has a shelf live no matter which way you slice it so would it not be about finding fun where you can?
