Why it is hypocritical to call Sylvanas evil

  1. Never betrayed others
  2. Never ditched guilds
  3. Never imagined being delusional enough to compare real life to Undead Fantasy women
  4. Sylvanas is evil

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter

Victory for Sylvanas!

I am impressed. You sound like a moral person who is not a hypocrite like everyone else.

It’s been over a decade… that is not quick, even for me at the advance age I am.

Bwonsamdi doesn’t like, so she’s evil. If that guy don’t like you, you’re definitely evil

That troll God of death is as crafty as they come. Always making deals.

How can you kill death?

Bwonsamdi is a natural treasure and should be treated as such!

Sadly nothing to be impressed about. The world has evolved into a state where good is boring and the only exciting thing is being badass and killing everything with a smile but being a soft hello kitty to your loved ones.

All the more reason why we should support Sylvanas for wanting to break the cycle.

Oh just logged in to find that the community buried the same post again. Well sorry if it called offence, but I know Blizz wasn’t as they restored it…I will make a new thread where I can argue my point but will try to use better examples I guess.

Seems that most of you that got offended considered one statement in the post sexist. I can’t win with this forum, when I made a post regarding anima the other day I talked extensively about the anima and animus and what they represent, and made the point that I understand that the two genders are equal now, but one person in that thread actually disagreed with me, expressing an opinion that equal in opportunity sure, but not equal in other ways with a few that such a notion is damaging for society or something along those lines. So I really can’t win no matter what I say.

I will make another attempt and try and focus purely on the lore.

How did you feel about the Great King Arthas setting her free from her pitiful existence?

Arthas is her mentor in setting people free. Agree?

Yes. It’s called integrity.

Do you type this stuff with a straight face, or are you just a giggle factory as you are typing it?

So what you’re saying is she’s along the lines of Elmyra and the Abominable Snowman in Looney Tunes?

Or maybe even Darla from Finding Nemo.

No, the devs are looking back to the Dark Phoenix saga, when Claremont’s original ending (Jean Grey’s psychic centers were burned out) was changed to death. “She killed 5 billion people. She dies.”

Ah the old you did something bad before so you can’t make decisions about others argument.

Let me remind you of an old thing these generations don’t understand, and that is Honor.

Honor can be taken and restored. Sylvanas has no honor. And those who choose to be honorable and regain theirs are. She has been given chances, begged, and pleaded with. It is not hypocritical to consider her evil. If her evil was reshaping like that of a destructive/rebirthing God then I can see where the hate is coming from. But as of now all her plans seem to be fueled out of spite and hatred. These aspects are dishonorable.

Some things are less wrong than others. For example, if, in a video game, I /spit on you that is less wrong than ACTUALLY spitting on you outside of a game. You dont need points, just common sense. Sylvanas has used her plague or fire on 3 cities that we know of ( Gilneas, Darnassus, and Undercity) as well as horde troops. She is a villain. You dont like that? Well, there were all kinds of people who followed hitler and thought he was alright as well. Nobody can control what you think but they sure can judge you for taking an egregiously wrong side publicly.

Sylvanas did was was needed to archive victory burning some trees and a town down and attempting to wipe out the leaders in undercity is the smart move … that’s not evil that’s common sense when it comes to battle that isn’t ran by stupid orcs and their worthless honor.
