I’m pretty indifferent on it from a personal level. I wouldn’t mind having it account wide, and I don’t mind it’s current iteration. I don’t run torghast all the time, but when I do it’s with some friends (you know, MMO and all) and I have a good time and typically 5 star regardless of what powers are unlocked in the box of many things.
i agree blizz fumbled yet again, box of many things should be acct wide in last patch, no one is coming back to pooplands going forward

This really should have been a part of season 4. Either account wide, or better yet, substantially increasing the amount of currency dropped.

And it’s good that you did enjoy doing it. I even did. But to have be empty on alts? Nah just the existence of it and the taste of what you can do when filled out can easily lead to apathy on the second pass.

But that wasnt the point of their post. The Box is fun, just not alt-friendly which shouldn’t be the case.

Oh in that case, yeah op (and others) should just fill it out at least once.
At the very least they could give a purchasable item after reaching a certain level or prestige that goes in ‘Toys’ which increases the drop count, or perhaps an item BOA that scales to equal the character it was purchased on.
I loved how they had that for reputations in MoP.
A feature I thoroughly enjoyed in the expansion.
In horrific visions, cloak rank felt all powerful, more than the tech tree and often even more than gear (until squeezing that last bit of performance for a 5-mask which is something I was only ever going to do once anyway).
Torghast by contrast (at least at the tiers I’m in) feels like basically a straight gear check and the box of many things ends up feeling more like a collection of quality of life fixes. There are no new things I’m waiting to do once the box is maxed out.
(that all said, I think I was in that line for horrific visions too)
There was a clear boost when getting the final trait for visions. You could feel its absence even if you had a rank 12 cloak. Like your character could scratch and claw for the cloak upgrades but being ilvl 445 or lower on that alt was just annoying when going into lost zones.
And the no new things part was there for visions too. Once you got had full tech tree, and rank 15 cloak all that was left was just the stupid 5 mask run nonsense for sockets. 5ish runs to get one socket that made you weaker in pvp until they fixed it kek.
Hmm … I think I’m getting my memories of that last tech unlocking and getting double twilight-devestation mixed up.

nods It’s just that my memories of whole swaths of enemies getting nuked in front of me stands out a lot more clearly than even a giant haste boost.
(but now that you remind me of the sanity immunity, I do remember that having a big impact)
I’m not expecting an empowerment boost to have a huge impact on me in Torghast - I find it a rather obnoxious mechanic that I just tend to save to pop midway through the level boss for the completion boost when he dies.
@OP – The box should be account wide just like the Ve’nari torg upgrades.
I don’t see anyone crying about not having to grind Ve’nari on each alt, why would the box bother them?

Because Time Gating is one of Blizzards obsessions, and it has gotten wildly out of hand.
